That's different from what you were saying, before. 🙂

But, no, it is part of the same continuity. PIS be damned. They made mistakes.

However, Xavier has gotten the ability to walk and lost it several times. There could be some explanation for why he was walking in the 80s in X-3.

All the other stuff: PIS.

There's actually a longer list than you had. For instance, the cameo for Storm in First Class. She'd be old by the time the X-men Trilogy started. The error on who built Cerebro: was it Hank or was it Charles and Magnus?

See what I mean?

Just a bunch of eff ups. It had nothing to do with X1 and X1 vs. X3. Hollywood just screws up like this.

Yeah your right actually. There's a lot of little screw ups all over. Another one was in X1 Xavier says "When I was 17 I met a man named Eric.." He obviously wasn't 17 in FC. Although I would say the contradictions to X1 and X2 were kind of "If you blink you'll miss them" ones. Whilst the contradictions to X3 and Origins were a lot more "In your face" so to speak.

Oh and it's twice Charles was walking when he should be Paralyzed. Once in X3 and once in Wolverine: Origins.

lol

So many screw ups. When I saw First Class and Wolverine: Origins, I thought both times, 'Damn you idiots. You could have at least had me review the script and correct for your errors." And you know what? I would have done it for free. 😐

There's also one with Wolverine's escape from the Weapon X facility

i think its with X2, you see him covered in blood and run out through a door and with Origins no blood and makes a hole through the wall.

good movie

I liked the movie.

It was very solid right until the end. Didn't like SS. I wanted to kill

Spoiler:
Jean again

👆 Jean may as well have not been in the movie. I think something a bit more interesting might've happened when I saw her in the trailer.

Or at least have sex with all the actresses.

Would've been better if someone put that silver samurai armor on rather then it being something someone owned.

Regarding him being another body

didn't anyone see that scene after the credits.....as for how that body looks like Xavier "shrugs".

It was explained in the DVD commentary, but unfortunately not in the film, that the man in the bed was supposed to be one "P.Xavier". So it was apparently a twin brother or perhaps a clone. So why is he still in a wheelchair in DOFP? Well, this guy's muscles would be atrophied from a lifetime of nonuse, so he would presumably still need a wheelchair.

However, since this wasn't explained in the film, and since Singer apparently didn't listen to the commentary, he intends to explain Xavier's return in a Patrick Stewart-like body in a different way. It looks like some new mutant character helps him reconstitute a body identical to his old one, or something along those lines. So why is the body still in a wheelchair in DOFP? Perhaps the body is created through access to Xavier's residual self-image, to use Matrix-style terminology, or his memories. Or as others have suggested, perhaps he just doesn't want to give up his handicapped parking space.

DOFP has a lot to explain, especially since it wants to put all the films into continuity. Bryan Singer did say he wants to "fix a few things," so lets see what he does before we criticize him on that. The problems actually come from X3 and Wolverine: Origins, movies he wasn't involved with.

I don't understand why he didn't just pretend that X-3 never happened.

God damn it.

Well... I like Wolverine and all about X-Men, but... another movie about Wolverine??

However, it looks nice..

Him getting his claws cut of was lame.

7/10

The continuity is already pretty muddled as it is.

It didn't catch me so much, I liked the 1st one much much more.

The story about him getting adamantite bone structure etc. then this..

And then indeed his claws getting cut off.. nah, 6/10

Time traveling mutant saves Xavier before Phoenix kills him and transport him to the future to meet up with Magneto and Wolverine.

take this with a grain of salt... however i have no doubt that this could turn out true...

also im sure some people will be crying and be upset
