Wbh Vs B&t Thor

Ok, so this is going more like on Thor's side for what I am reading, or stalemate.

WBH stomps Thor, with or without the gem.

Easy win for Thor.

There is no "no limits fallacy" concerning the Power Gem...

Have you forgotten the gems origin story? The gems form the CORE might of the power of GOD.

The Power Gem potentially gives its weilder access to infinite power, so yeah, Thor with it would eventually defeat anyone...

Do you remember why Warlock (And later Thanos after learning what was going on from Pip) was trying to stop Thor? Eternity warned Warlock that Thor was going to threaten the universe; the Power Gem would have eventually empowered him enough to do just that...

So yeah...Thor with the Power Gem would eventually defeat WBH.

@Carver

Lets be real, WBH cant keep up with the CORE of GODS power...

I know what the gems are and where they come from. However we have seen many cases of gem wielders not utilizing it's abilities to such levels and Thor was a prime example of it. The power gem can potentially give people infinite power but Thor when he had it was nowhere near that. It would take Thor 3 hours of powering up just to break out of thanos force block something hwhich Odin did instantly. WBh isn't going to be sitting idly by while Thor is slowly powering up. He will be knocking him the hell out.

Yeah, at 1st (and for a good while), WBH would be beating Thor all over the place...

HOWEVER, the Gem makes you invulnerable, so the Hulks beating would be for naught, and eventually, Thor would sufficiently tap into enough of the gems might to defeat WBH...

Its inevitable...Thor would eventually win.

Well the gem might not have limits that's true, but it entirely depends on the wielder. Thor showed some proficiency with the gem no doubt, but it was kid stuff compared to say what Thanos did with the PG alone.

Hulk takes away Thor's hammer and beats him with it just for the lulz...

Where has it been shown that the gem Makes you completely invulnerable ?

Yeah, I would like to see that too. If this is true, it would change a lot of things.

Nothing states that the gem makes you invulnerable, but there is evidence that suggests that it does:

1) When the Champion had the gem, he destroyed that world he and Thanos were fighting on at point blank range, was boasting afterwards, and appeared to be unharmed...

2) Thanos was pounding Thor when they fought, but once again, Thor looked just as strong (and seemed ready to crush the Surfer for beating his chick) as ever after the physical punishment while Thanos was bleeding...

That's the impression I got from the Champion.

Thor would still feel the punches I think, but in the end he should be allright.

But I mean, whenever someone as strong as say Thor or Hulk actually punches one another it's people capable of lifting a million tons punching at say 500 lbs. When WBH punches Thor he's going to be sent flying into another galaxy unless he's bracing himself....

At this point almost any attack is a potential bfr 😛

@naija boy

Theres another example I just remembered of the gem making one unbeatable; remember when Warlock and Strange combined their powers and attacked Thor with the Power Gem?

Thor was fading, but then (before he was KO'ed) he subconsciously began tapping into the gem (which is stated on panel) and fully recovered from their assault...

Brute Force is not defeating one with the Power Gem; Thor beats WBH as a result...

On the same note, regular Thor made PG-powered Thanos bleed in Infinity Gauntlet. And this same Thanos was pierced by Wolverine.

So, we have conclusively shown that the PG does NOT automatically make you invulnerable.

Yeah, but Thor was slowly, but steadily, tapping into the gems might...

According to Eternity Thor would have eventually become a threat to the entire universe if he wasnt stopped...

Maybe "invulnerable" is too strong a word; unbeatable by Brute Force might be more accurate...

...those feats are impressive and all but hardly indicative of total invulnerability. I mean WBh himself no sold even greeter forces in the dry dimension and yet we accept that even he is not absolutely invulnerable. The evidence for such a strong claim needs to be far more definitive .

I am not sure that would be accurate as PG-Thanos(who was also more proficient in the gem's use than Thor) still had a 0.01% chance of being beaten by the Avengers.

Not only that, we have evidence to the contrary, with PG-Thanos being hurt by both Thor and Wolverine in Infinity Gauntlet.

Yeah, but I am betting that .01% chance of victory would have not been due to only brute force; I am betting that would have been because of the possibility of them finding a creative solution to defeating him that wasnt all brute force...
