Glad he ended up being nothing like Robin.
For anyone wo got the collectors edition there is "hidden" additional stuff that wasn't announced. In the bottom back of the Joker statue there are two openings. One is to put the batteries in and turn it on and the other has two hidden object from the game. I have no idea what they are. They are both in packaging that says "Do not open before story is complete. Contains spoilers." These are not the bags of evidence. They are about the same size as the evidence bags though.
How......how is the best? All the critics are saying this:

Overall, good game but not as good as the first two.
Guess I'll find out for myself later as I'll likely be playing this all night.
Even if what critics say is the truth. I won't be mad. Everyone should have known this game wasn't going to be quite as good as the previous two(no Rocksteady, Conroy, Hamill, etc). Just hoped it could stay somewhat in the same ballpark. Looks like it did.
While it doesn't have the "oh my god" factor that Asylum had, I think it's a better game than it.
It is more of a 2.5 than a 3, but I still feel like it's well worth it, and is a worthy addition to the series. Really enjoying the story. The cameos and the voice acting are pretty good, and it "feels" like I'm Batman, which is the most important thing for me.
Mmmm. I'm on the Deathstroke fight. It's not as good as the previous two installments but I thought those were some of the best games ever.
The graphics are notably worse than AC but everyone's saying that's a sacrifice of making the larger open world. Not really digging the new batsuit. Preferred the more comic book looks of the previous two. This one borrows too much from Nolan's films.
Also, the soundtrack is majorly lacking so far compared to AA and AC. Other than that, doesnt seem so bad.

Both Croc and the Deathstroke boss fights have been cool so far. The "putting the crime scene together" aspect is really cool. Is that what you mean by "new detective mode"?
Batcave and Batwing are cool. Haven't really done any side missions yet so can't speak on those.
When in the cinematic cut scenes the game looks sweet but in the actual gameplay the graphics are well below the previous games IMO.
Overall, though I am enjoying it.
Picked this up along with my pre-order bonuses on my way to work Friday, but will probably wait a bit before I actually get into this game (been busy lately and all).
As usual, will decide for myself on how I would rank it among the other games of the series after my first playthrough or so, rather than be a sheep and let reviewers' opinions decide for me. Just from what I had seen from some of the gameplay and stuff alone though, am not seeing how it's inferior to both the previous games.

Btw did anyone found all the enigma boxes?
Really wondering what does the secret room hold in it.
Tried out Deathstroke is pretty sweet...his gadgets are neural pellet (which is the same as Robin's snap flash),grapler hook(batclaw),he can shoot from his staff (batarang) proximity bomb(stick sprayable bomb)stun granade(smoke bomb) and remote claw with which you can attach gas tanks to enemies or attach them to vantage points he has his own moves nothinglike Robin from the previous videos....
I honestly haven't noticed a difference in the graphics, and I've played both City and Origins on PS3. Maybe Origins is gloomier, but I don't think that really is an issue.
The batsuit is always going to come down to personal preference, but I don't mind this one. It suits a young Batman, imo.
The boss fight with
Spoiler:
Deathstroke was fun, imo. It felt like a chess match at times, with me trying to decide whether to commit to an attack he might counter, or to hold off for an opening.
Also, that new grapple claw gadget is AWESOME.
The remote claw is freakin sweet!
Its a little overpowered Imo espcially because attaching gas tanks and fire extinguishers dont use ammo and you can take out 3 people with it by the start.
I have to agree with Pr I have been playing AC till the release of AO to "practice"...😛
Graphics are not worse at all...
