Energy attacks is Thor by far. Especially if absorption is allowed. Dunno about the other two.

1. Superman > Surfer > Thor.
2. Surfer > Superman > Thor.
3. Thor > Surfer > Superman.

1) superman 100> thor 99 > surfer 95
2) superman 97> surfer 96 > thor 85
3) thor 100> surfer 99> superman 80
My Vote for 3 might change if you mean energy absortion without any aid.

By absorption I mean tanked but not by mjolnir or anything like that. Its pure physical absorption of damage.

1. Superman = Thor > Surfer
2. Surfer = Superman > Thor
3. Three way split probably. Can't see much justification for putting one over the other very often.

Thor is clearly the least physically durable of the group. His body is easier to damage. Thor has great damage soak though.

I didn't put numbers because I think the differences are rather minor. That being said: overall, I think Surfer has the best durability. But if we consider capacity to immediately recover and strike back, then I'd probably put Superman first and Surfer last.

I agree that Thor is probably easier to damage in any category (Not necessarily in energy though) but OP said he's taking into account damage soak.
