I don't know. Those rocks look pretty crumbly. And most explosions in zelda can stop a goron. It may not hurt link, but it could knock him back or into the lava.

Batman cannot 'boomerang' his little grenade before Link lines up a direct shot with the bow and pegs him. By the time it was returning Batman would already be nailed to the statue. At worst it hits Link in the back and Link flies toward Batman, probably clear over the trench, but it doesn't particularly matter. Link isn't a retard and will stop himself from falling in, either with the clawshot, or by using the spinner to float on it, or just grabbing the ledge, assuming he doesn't fly over it and land directly on Batman, who is now very screwed. 😛
Even if he lands in it, now he's burned and mad, he collapses the temple on Batman.
