So you finally admit that the definitive statement "Voldemort wins" is unwarranted. Looks like I win this round

He does win based off evidence. Unlike the side with zero evidence. Make some sense, sport.

I'm doing my best Quanchi impression. Like it?

I still disagree with you, but I concede by virtue of boredom with this topic. Congratulations

The best impression is winning a debate through evidence and rising above the hate. Glad to hear you concede. Sit back and learn from me.

Sauron and VOldermort hey? No offence... but other then the ability to cheat code kill with Avarda Kedarva (or however you spell it) Voldermort doesn't seem that powerful. The irony in all this is that neither can kill the other. If the RIng survives, Sauron Survives. If the Baldermot's Snake lives he lives.

You see the problem here?

Anyway physically. I'm guessing Avarda Kerdarvra won't work because The DARK Lord Sauron is a master of dark magic and could probably cast it aside. Voldermort runs away at the first sign of threat quite consistently in the series and that says a lot about how much of a coward he is. While wearing the RIng Sauron is partially immortal. If voldermort can figure that out he could use some cunning to remove the ring from Sauron and destroy him. But he probably won't know this and Sauron hits him in the face with a an evil super powered mace.

A half broken sword which separated his ring killed him. Saying he could cast it aside without any proof is just being biased. Ak would kill him easier than throwing his ring off his fingers.

Ok... well then how about this: "The extent, nature, and specifics of Sauron's power are largely left to the imagination. Like his master Morgoth, he was capable of altering the physical substance of the world around him by mere effort of will."

When has this ever been described in this manner in the films. This isn't the book version.

If that is the case then no one can have a fair argument. As Movie Sauron was shown for an instant. And the rest of the time he was weak (a giant eye). If want an interesting battle: The Eye of Sauron vs Voldermort's Horcrux. As neither can do anything but instruct their followers.

So you agree Voldemort wins.

Excellent.

I do not. Voldermort cannot destroy the ring and therefore cannot destroy Sauron. Vice versa for Horcruxes. I say this whole thread is a waste of time. I'm leaving. I recommend reading 'children of hurin' The book of with the first Dark Lord Morgorth. Its cool.

Destroying the body counts as a win here.

So you thus concede and are fleeing. Another win for the dark lord.

Voldemort wins again.

Well ?

You concede finally? Good.

What can Sauron do to stop one energy blast.

Ironically, Sauron was more visually impressive in the films as The Necromancer than when he was in full command of his body and the One Ring.

Still, his divinity is only vaguely implied so I don't see him shrugging off a Killing Curse.

It's a pretty flashy contest, but I'mma give it to the other Dark Lord.

Flood Voldemort with his black wave of blackiness.

That took a while to even take Gandalf and he's far less powerful, can't apparate, and can't shoot energy blasts like Voldemort has.

Pretty sure Sauron, a superior wizard than Gandalf the Grey/White, could summon up a shield to help prevent moderate damage from Voldemort's energy blasts, while knocking him around with his mace or spamming black ichor.

This shield withstood hundreds of blasts and disintegrated those who ran into it.

Lotr magic is like bright lights and throwing pine cones of fire.

😂

So he had to channel for 20 seconds to do any visible damage?

Sauron stomps on his neck in the meantime.
