I guess Forbes and everyone else is wrong too. It all counts but either way you look at it Potter wins.

Forbes never said that the Harry Potter books count as part of the movie franchise.

Forbes count this as a complete franchise which is what this thread is designed for.

😂

Thank you for admitting that I was right about Forbes never having stated that the books were part of the movie franchise.

My op includes the overall franchise not just movie.

😂

One day you will get it.

Does it really matter, even the website Quanchi used to source from which included the books didn't agree with him, it was 27b for SW and 24b for HP.

27 > 24. Simple maths. SW is ahead by his own source.

there's also the simple fact that Star Wars isn't done, but HP is.

more movies... more books, more toys, more general merch. Disney is also making theme park attractions.

give it up, Quan.

Amusement Park wasn't factored in nor was J.K. Net worth.

We subtract Lucas net worth.

Harry Potter wins.

It doesn't change the thread's outcome, IE Star Wars wins.

But it does shows that quan will lie and/or ignore facts when it suits him. basically it shows that he's a fanboy and a troll.

Harry Potter isn't done as another amusement park is on the way. Star Wars was supposedly done and then Disney bought it.

This thread is about today not tomorrow. As today Potter wins. It will be back to boot as its too profitable not to return otherwise.

No, Potter wins as we don't factor in someone's net worth. Read the op.

I'm as fair as they come. Potter wins. It's simply magic.

Per the OP's stips, Star Wars wins.

Isn't LotR about to be up there in the top rankings with The Hobbit trilogy? I imagine those films getting some major cash as the box office.

Wrong per the stips Star Wars loses.

I think they will be in the discussion once the Hobbit concludes.

Because Star Wars has more money, is more popular, and is more merchandised. /story

What's the amusement park numbers? 🙂

Inflation wasn't accounted for. Subtract Lucus' piggy-bank all you like, it makes no difference. 🙂

In the future, it would help you look less the clownshoe if you supported your claim with sources that agreed with what you're saying. Debating 101. 🙂

SW 27 > HP 24. Simple maths. Using your source, SW > HP 🙂

It's rather amusing that the same person trying to use the amusement park's possible future earnings is the same person that posted this.
