To,me it's keeping with the times. You need to adapt to technology and the LOZ has not.
I understand where you're coming from, but voice acting makes games more expensive for something that it's pretty much unneeded. Again, this is not a justification, Zelda games are blockbusters and they could pay such features.
I do think that silent heros do have some charm, but you can always use voice acting somewhere else.

Gameplay is the same with dungeons, puzzles, bosses and saving the princess.
That's the risk when you have a long running series, personally I see how that gameplay can be seen as stagnant, but most of its fans seem to think the games remain somewhat good. I personally cherish the old games the most because the genius in those is much more evident.

I didn't play skyrim. I'm responding to you saying you don't want voice acting of Zelda.
Originally posted by ScreamPasteNo, it's stagnant and outdated. Nintendo will soon be a third party developer due to their shitty systems anyway.
Zelda's style works exceptionally well without it. shrug The characters are so expressive that if you threw in voice acting you'd actually need to tone them down or it wouldn't come across right.

At first I hated on Nintendo for not using voice actors. Then I just stopped caring. Then I realized it hasn't hurt them and the games don't really need them.
But I agree with Quan about Nintendo always lagging behind.
