Damage isn't the same as it is in cutscenes. It proves he can take damage but not to the same extent IMO.
You're talking about stopping Gorons charging momentum with the boots. Thats fine, but you didn't mention what it has to do with lifting and throwing.
..Okay you're missing something. Link was low, gets stronger, went high. Logan goes low>high>low>high>low>high. And thats what I'm talking about; that its hard to keep up with his level as it bounces up and down. Theres no reason that his regen goes from low to insane level in another showing, then back down.
So all the gameplay proves is that he can take harm from things? Not to what degree? Like if he becomes crippled from a sword strike or takes it like a slap on the back? How about being able to just survive the kinds of attacks he does?
Saying he simply takes damage is generalising all the damage and not accepting what kind he's taking.
