Who is "The Man"?? Thor or Sentry

Who is the top hero,the top savior,the ideal hero,Who is *Earth Main Protecter*....fine I'll just say it, Who is the "Superman" for Marvel Earth. Who is their symbol of hope?

The Mighty God Of Thunder With A Powerful Hammer Of Justice? or The Man With The Power Of A Million Exploding Suns.

Who is the Man?

Captain America.

But if this is between strictly Thor and Sentry, based off of the hype and original intent and all that crap, Sentry was "earth's greatest hero" before everyone forgot about him.

Consistently, given feats, his stories, and everything else about the character, Thor.

Earths main protector isn't really either of these 2.
Thor is always Asgard involved, And sentry... well he is Sentry.

In Marvel the saviors the aren't the Raw power type guys, its often the brains the save the day (Pym, Reed, Stark)

Thor's saved Earth plenty of times and is no less protective of it than he is of Asgard. It's actually one of the recurring themes and conflicts he has, being a child of both worlds.

The Superman would be Sentry. Since he's a Superman "Clone".

Neither of them is the Superman of Marvel Earth.

Though Hulk is the "go to guy" of the MU.

There are some leader figures

Captain America

and then the underdog figure

Spiderman

Sentry was conceptually it.

from what every other hero in the marvel universe say about him...he is basically superman in Marvel. They seem to over hype/talk about his greatness to prove that point as well

I think if worked right by Marvel... Blue Marvel could be that man.
Also be cool to give a black hero such a high rank ...

Both are the top heralds of Marvel and most likely the most powerful. And have the "superman standards"

sentry is far more powerful and is earths greatest hero but as far as the company is concerned between the two thor is "the man" by far its not close if its off power sentry by a mile

Thor is more powerful and more consistent even with daddy issues, Thor has been there and done that, Sentry is a weak minded cry baby with some serious mental issues, he probably needs to talk too Dr Phil
