Been proven, boyo. Link is stronger than Gorons, stronger than Fyrus, comparable to Ganondorf. It is canon, but it's not relevant because the sword is more powerful than move Gandalf.

Gandalf is less powerful than the Master Sword and the mirror never attacked Ganondorf directly or harmed him. Ganondorf kills him with one punch.
