Did they release the preview for the next episode
Hold up, isn't them finding the B-wing kind of early for the Rebellion?...Cause it's gonna raise some questions as to where it was later on in the movies, until its appearance in ROTJ and where was it during the Death Star Attack.
Unless this is just gonna be a prototype, although it seems odd it would take them all that time from where they got the plans to make more of them.

It often takes years to go from prototypes to mass production. Or, simply, the Rebels at Yavin didn't have any of those ships. I don't really see the problem either way.
It seemed to me though the entire Rebellion was based on Yavin and then moved to Hoth and then just became a fleet. But yeah, I guess so...still seems kinda early though.
Then again, they did have the prototype A-wings in Legends around Battle of Yavin soo..../shrug
Guess I'm still trying to get my head in this new canon.
That certainly is the implication in the films, but is not what it is in the new Disney canon (nor in the EU IIRC). The Battlefront novel that just came out presents the war as a massive galactic war with multiple companies of Rebels conquering planets across the Outer Rim. Hoth is just where Rebels high command is.

Well yeah, though you'd think where High Command is, where there would be the new toys. But eh, details, details, I guess I should pry too much since the AT-ATs also looked to be prototypes.
Although speaking of, this is kinda contradicting what Dave said about their being better tech in the Clone Wars. Not that the OT itself didn't sorta already show that, well movie trilogy to movie trilogy anyway.
What wasn't, rofl? The notion I even have to explain why that episode was trash is kekworthy. I'll sum it up, I guess:
- Episode starts off acting like the Empire is some galactic-wide cancer who enjoys starving entire worlds.
- The Rebels do a supply run on a world that just so happens to have Agent Kallus protecting it.
- The fact an Imperial blockade that should have dozens of Tie-fighters only had ****ing four.
- Kallus says "this is Imperial territory." No ****ing shit. The entire galaxy is under the Empire's reign.
- Despite there being like four mini Star Destroyers there, only one of them decide to shoot the Rebel transport.
- The mini Star Destroyers didn't follow the Rebels back to their hangout after their defeat like they should have.
- Terrible acting by the two voice actors of some Rebel pilots on the bridge of the Alliance Headquarters ship.
- Hera does a landing that prime, fully potential realized Anakin Skywalker would consider impossible.
- "The ship hangs over a cliff and almost falls but doesn't fall" cliche that oh so definitely had us scared.
- The fake Ackbar transformed a B-Wing into a portable Death Star capable of one-shotting mini Star Destroyers.
- The utterly predictable plot that Hera would prove herself to the fake Ackbar, even though she did nothing.
- Sabine literally considering herself a Mandalorian - and then using that as an argument - was suicidal.
- "They can't resist helping people they need - which will be the last mistake they make" from Agent Kallus.
- The "falls and then suddenly flies back up" cliche that is seen in virtually every movie / TV show these days.
- Kanan and Ezra are so retarded they think they can solo an Imperial blockade with a handful of ships.
- Kanan and Ezra not realizing the Empire can follow them even if they get past the blockade and kill the locals then.
- The fact that B-Wing managed to conviently avoid every turbolaser shot being fired at it despite all other ships not.
- The fact that B-Wing didn't also destroy Agent Kallus' ship, or didn't just leave that planet and solo the Empire.
And that's just off the top of my head. 😬
