Star Wars: Rebels!

As for some of my own criticisms of the episodes in the last month, was pretty disappointed how easily Ezra's debt to Vizago was paid off.

I mean they made such a huge thing of the debt when they made the deal about how it could be absolutely anything. So it was clearly a very unwise deal to make.

But hey he got off easy.

Is the preview for the next episode out yet?

No, which is weird, it should've been out yesterday. mmm

I saw a short preview for "Future of the Force" on Disney last night. Looks like it's gonna start to pick up. Ahsoka takes on the one or both of the Inquisitors.

😮‍💨

Yep Inquisitors next week, then 2 episodes the week after which I think will be the mid-season break, and last episodes before TFA comes out. I will be binge watching those next 3 episodes together.

We'll be getting a third season: http://www.starwars.com/news/the-fight-against-the-empire-will-continue-in-star-wars-rebels-season-three

F*ck yes!

Anyone else think Ezra's mom and/or dad will die right in front of him or something?

I'd be genuinely surprised King if Rebels actually did that, cause so far...not feeling any sort of looming darkness. Also the finale is suppose to be some huge secret, but really....isn't it clearly obvious? Ahsoka vs Vader?

Hm, maybe we're underestimating them? And no, he is referring to the mid-season finale, lol. Something dark and cliffhanger-y like that would be great for a mid-season finale. But yeah, the legit Season 2 finale will most definitely be Ahsoka vs. Vader, but the story / circumstances surrounding the fight is what makes it truly hyped up and interesting.

I kind of hope Ezra turns to the dark side at this point, to be honest.

Well it's just King, they said Season 2 is suppose to be ESB right? We're already near the mid-season and yet the Rebels lost...what exactly? Nothing? Oh wait...a whole transport which affected literally nothing. Compared to ESB where they got their shit kicked in.

Oh mid-season....eh well maybe that's when it all turns around if it's dark and cliffy...although I dunno about Ezra turning to the darkside. If he does, I doubt it'll be more than just a few episodes before he comes back cause it just would seem off for the central main character to be going against his crew.

His parents will probably die though....still not 100% sure they'd go that dark but...meh...I guess I'm still struggling in believing the Rebels crew is gonna pull something fantastic out.

Maybe the mid-season will change my mind hopefully. I like the show, but I struggle with it at times.

They got their shit kicked in in Siege of Lothal... Not only were they defeated but the Empire spun it to make them look like the villains.

Mmm...got me there alright had forgotten that(I can have a bad memory sometimes), though I don't recall them being noted as villains by the populace seeing as people were still accepting their help and so forth. That and it seems they just rebounded rather quickly despite losing a good chunk of their fleet to Vader, even got a new prototype B-wing in the works now.

@Zen, the Empire hit the Rebels hard during the Siege of Lothal, but other than that, yeah, they haven't really done anything.

I think if Ezra were to turn to the dark side he'd be dark for at least the end of the season. Watching his parents get slaughtered would be the perfect way for him to turn dark if that were to happen. And apparently there's going to be a dramatic scene between the Seventh Sister, Ezra and Ahsoka in the final minutes of the mid-season finale. Possibly what Taylor Gray was referring to when he said that what happens to his parents' is what's going to determine Ezra's fate.

Well I'm not holding my breath, but I hope it's something good. We shall see.

Same. I only like Kanan, Hera and Chopper tbh. Don't care for the other 3, but Ezra going dark would definitely interest me.

At the end of a season (maybe season 2), we'll see him flirt with the dark side for a bit. Then the subsequent season will be him doing this a bit more (maybe even taking the 7th sister up on her offer to train) before going back to the light side at the end of that season.

Holy shit. Kick ass episode.

Did not expect to see that this week.
