It's just if they do go with that, what could possibly top it and keep the audience interested?

Ahsoka gets trounced, next season its revealed Barris or Maul are resisting Sidious and then in an unlikely alliance team up with the rebels to hold off Vader.

But Filoni does state there are way more important duels with Ahsoka later in the season. Gotta be Vader or something.

Important duels being...what though? Only Force User around worth anything is Vader, we see that the two Inquisitors don't match up against Ahsoka so they are out.

I mean I guess Barriss could come into playr, but it seems to me that is just throwing away Inquisitors if they are just gonna do it every season.

Maul maybe he could come across the Ghost crew but to be honest, I feel like he would be someone saved for Vader or Luke to up their dueling and Force using skills, because there doesn't seem to be many skilled swordmasters within this new canon for them to fight other than eachother.

Vader seems more likely though. Old vs New.

A duel of fates style Ahsoka and Kanan vs. Maul would be sick though.

Nah his story has to get resolved. And I'd rather watch it than read about it.

Nope, no, never. Maul is done.

I think he'll either appear in Rebels, die in a novel, or get a comic Arc in Marvel against Vader or Ben. Its confusing and completely a mystery what they play on doing with Maul, we'll just have to wait and see.

Maul being in Rebels would be absolutely atrocious.

I'd like to find out what happens to him. Maybe he moves to Tatooine and becomes a moisture farmer?

I think Rebels (or the next animation they do) is a far safer bet for Disney than bringing Maul back to Live Action.

I just started watching Rebels for the first time and really enjoy it. I thought it'd be pretty lame and childish but I don't get that at all
