I think Vader killing her is boring and predictable, TBH. I mean, all of what Ahsoka's been through just to get killed by Vader? We all know he's a monster, and Ahsoka's character shouldn't just be based all around Anakin/Vader and how bad of a person he's become, IMO.

@DT & Beni: There's probably ways that they could maneuver around that I think.

Eh. I agree. But this would make him a complete sith.

Think about it. Dave has said Vader wants to kill her, and Pablo Hidalgo stated this Vader during his monster days, literally no one besides luke could redeem him.

I see this going into Sheev telling him. "Kill ahsoka and your ascension to the Sith shall be complete"

Just my opinion.

Ahsoka becoming a martyr would be extremely generic, IMO.
It would be, I agree. Just saying that I'd rather them go that route with her, then simply getting killed at the hands of Vader if I had to pick.

...Maybe Quin will pop-up and just force-choke her to death, then Vader will kill him in a fit of rage. Loose ends handled. 👆

Vader already completed his task. Twelve 15 years ago. In the Jedi Temple.

Anyway, I don't see the problem with Vader killing Ahsoka. Is it predictable? Sure, but being predictable does not make it bad. Quite simply, it's the most fitting ending for her.

Yeah, Anakin officially became Sith/Vader after he helped Palpatine kill Mace. Aside from that, I'd say Vader slaughtering a Temple full of Younglings and whatnot is FAR worse than potentially killing his former Padawan.

Imo, killing Ahsoka would absolutely not represent any sort of proverbial tipping point. Right now, Vader is Sith.

He is. But he still has to 'help hunt down and destroy the Jedi".

IMO Filoni will have Ahsoka pull a han solo. she'll tell Quin there's still light in him i can bring him back.

It might be more of a sacrificial type of thing..? ie. Ahsoka sacrifices herself(in some way) to save the others..? Dunno. I can say that I would much prefer her meeting her end like that, then I would for her to simply die at the hands of Vader. /shrug

There's also Quinlan Vos to 'tidy up'... Unless he's simply written off as having died during Order 666... In which case that would be a horrendous waste of a character they've built upon so much in this new canon. /shrugx2

😱
I hope we see Vos in Rebels

No.

I actually wouldn't mind Vos popping-up at some point in Rebels. I think it could be an excellent 'reveal', IF handled well.

I wonder how many seasons they could run this show? Clone Wars ran 6 season with a planned 8 before the sale to Disney and they were telling stories in a 3 year span between AOTC and ROTS. Rebels started at like 4 or 5 years before ANH so in theory they could run this show for 7 seasons or so but that seems unlikely. It is a big galaxy after all.

As long as the show remains popular, Disney can/will stretch it as much as they need to.

I wonder if the success of TFA will bring in new viewers to the show. I'm thinking Rebels may get a boost from it.

We're dealing with entirely different timeframes, so it's hard to say if a newer audience would still enjoy Rebels. /shrug

Well since they're both inspired by the OT era, there should be some overflow onto Rebels. Unfortunately right now Rebels hardly gets any viewers. Like Half a million. Some of the Marvel Star Wars comic books sell that much.

So I'm not sure if people are not aware of the show, or if they just assume it's for kids being on DisneyXD.

I think it's a bit of both, tbh. Rebels isn't widely promoted(at all), but even those who actually are aware of its existence probably think it's a kiddy show.

Honestly, if I weren't already a fan of TCW, and didn't already know what Filoni can do with this type of medium, that's probably what I'd think as well. /shrug

It's a the wrong type of show for the channel as DIsneyXD caters to a very different audience. If it was on CN it would probably be doing far better.

Anyway, we are getting a Season 3. With Rogue One coming out, I feel that would be a good time to end the series.

To date, Star Wars Rebels ranks as Disney XD’s #2 series in Total Viewers (1.3 million), Kids 6-11, Boys 6-11 and Boys 2-11. It’s the channel’s #1 program among Adults 18-49 and Men 18-49. In the most recent quarter tabulated (3Q15), Star Wars Rebels reached over 48 million unique Total Viewers in 157 countries/territories and in 30 languages. Star Wars Rebels has also generated nearly 4 million video starts on WATCH Disney XD. -SW.com

The show is actually doing quite well.

"I did some podcasts in the beginning of the season, and I talked about some of the legend characters they discuss–legend characters being characters established in either of the first two trilogies or in ‘The Clone Wars’ cartoon. We’ve got a lot of them and they reveal almost all of them. And for all of you who’ve been wanting that Ahsoka/Vader battle, they show more than I think they should even show, to be honest. You get a ton of that interaction, you get a taste of the action, and you get to see a bit of that physical contact."
Freddie Prinze, Jr., talking about the trailer that will be revealed next week! According to him, it will be over three minutes long. (x)

Couldn't edit it into my above post because KMC is being a *****.
