Nah it's filler. I just can't think of any other word for it really, unless you wanna go with something more harsh, I find it filler.

I enjoyed the episode, TBH.

Finally got around to watching it and I thought it was as good well.

I'm not sure why there is so much hate.

How is this show? I just finished The Clone Wars, and I feel like that show wasn't given a proper end. Does Rebels continue of of TCW stories??

Just was kinda....meh really, but then I blame the trailer for showing far more interesting stuff that'll make the other episodes just seem flat and boring.

I don't think it was bad, but it did get a bit boring and derivative, and the antagonist was kinda dull. Hardly compares to the Mandalore arc in TCW.

Dude, just admit that if Rebels put out an episode identical to Evil Plans, you'd give it a 10/10 review because it's Rebels. uhuh

The double standards you employ for storm troopers/battle droid performance are proof of that.

I’ve expressed my disappointment in several Rebels episodes already but keep hating.

Mine is a righteous fury.

Admit it: Sidious/Maul/Savage is better than anything Rebels has given us.

Repent and admit that battle droids > storm troopers and that Rebels had done unmitigated damage to the reputation of the Empire.

The Empire deserves better.

The Palpatine/Maul stuff wasn’t even the best part of TCW.

And the Battle Droid humor ruins them in those early seasons. Sure, the Stormtroopers are laughably ineffective as well but that isn’t a deal breaker for me.

No. Sidious/Maul > bumbling Inquisitors and Vader beating up a bunch of weak clods.

The battle droids perform better by far than stormtroopers, which is the problem.

Rebels besmirches galactic history's most powerful military.

That your fascination with this era has blinded you to its failures is displeasing. I will cleanse your sight.

I agree that the hate for this episode is rather unwarranted. People are just being nitpicky bandwagoners at this point, imo. When the aforementioned happenings start popping up this season, those same people will start talking about how awesome Rebels has been. Mark my words. 👆

Rebels is "awesome" when Vader is on screen. But that's more because of Vader.
