Did Superman hurt his hands punching Doomsday before that scene? If not, its common sense what was going on during that instance. Also, lol at using Classic scans. If Bill would have been koed by a Nuke in the SAME comic he withstood attacks from Galactus and a planets explosion, THEN you would have an argument but what Brock brought up to you happened in the same comic with Superman fighting Doomsday. Do you not get this ABHI?
Classic scans means what exactly? Its still canon. Superman had taken planets exploding under a red sun and taken shots from COIE Anti-monitor under the same writer.
Being in the same comic doesn't erases previous feats especially from the same writers. When would you get that carver.

Doomsday is too one dimesional to win a fight like this. Without his own flying ability he doesn't have any defense for when Bill goes airborne.
Originally posted by abhilegendHe wasn't too one dimensional for Darkseid either but we both know he didn't use his abilities to his full capacity.
No but that hardly means anything. He was punching hardly than ever and his hands were hurting in retaliation.Classic scans means what exactly? Its still canon. Superman had taken planets exploding under a red sun and taken shots from COIE Anti-monitor under the same writer.

He wasn't too one-dimensional for superman. When has Bill fought like that?
Originally posted by abhilegendIf Superman had fought Doomsday under these circumstances he would have survived the fight. He would get Doomsday off the ground and he and the rest of the JLA would have pummelled Doomsday to death while he dangled helplessly at the end of the chain.

Originally posted by abhilegendDoomsday didn't start showing Flash speed until several years later, in Doomsday Wars, so that argument is irrelevant. He was fast enought to grab ahold of Doomsday on multiple occasions. In a situation like this if Doomsday were to punch Superman or Bill they would get launched straight up if it's an uppercut, or knocked several miles away if it's a straight punch. In any event when he knocks them away he gets to go along for the ride with them. Superman and Bill have both taken huge shots and recovered mid flight. It would be in character for both of them to take a shot from Doomsday recover mid flight and continue flying once they see Doomsday being drug around helplessly behind them.
Not exactly. Doomsday is fast enough to avoid being in that position.

Superman and Doomsday were fighting in air several times and doomsday matched him every time. Your imaginary scenario doesn't matches comics.

DD is not one dimensional, he has flash like speed.
He will destroy Bill if he catches him in a vicious combination. DD also has bony protrustions. Think of Wolverine light with the strength of Superman and speed of flash. DD was pretty much immune to energy projection. The entire JL, even Superman didn't damage him with energy.
Really H1?
Originally posted by abhilegendThat was close range fighting. Had they had the separation that the chain would provide Superman and the JLA coud have gone to town on Doomsday while being safely outside of his attack range.
