I for one think S'ivaa is being exaggerated.

Thanks for the scans, been a while since I've read that story.

My conclusion? If the Destroyer faces S'ivaa in original size then it's a spite thread as any being from New Genesis simply operated on a higher level of existence in that story (This is not always the case).

If it's a neutral battle ground or the Destroyer enters through a Boomtube or teleports there etc. then the Destroyer would have the upper hand in combat. While we see S'ivaa hurt and affected or what have you, we're unclear as to what it would take to actually put him down. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but not to the point of no limit fallacy.

S'ivaa wasn't a new god and wasn't altered by boom tube. He was just that large. Superman and Orion had the benefit of being altered by boom tube, destroyer wouldn't have that luxury.

He wasn't altered by a boom tube because he was already in the 4th world. If he entered the 3rd world, he would indeed have been massive. If Superman or Orion had gone through the tear in space/time, they also would have been massive, so I'm not sure what your point is.

I think it should just be assumed that we're referring to a smaller S'ivaa in this thread as if he entered this battle through a boom tube, just as we'd assume Orion would be a smaller size entering a battle.

He wasn't in 4th world IIRC. He was rising from beneath it where he was imprisoned.

You sure? I'm pretty sure that's where he awakened, but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure either.

^sivaa was imprisoned beneath the eternal sea of new genesis :

this is how how awakened:

though superman getting altered by a boom tube is contradictory to what appeared in a supergirl comic

supergirl goes through the boom tube:

next issue we learn that she is dwarfed by the new gods:

granny goodness explains that only new gods automatically get altered when traveling through a boom tube:

this concept however, was used on a smaller scale than in the new gods issues where sivaa appears.

Why do you think size matters here with regards to the destroyer ?

sivaa was a multiversal threat as far as im concerned, if not more.

follow me closely

first of all, shivaa is a threat to all existence:

now the big question is what does 'all existence' mean according to context.

orion explains that all mortal universes (the multiverse) exists in bubbles in new genesis:

http://i.imgur.com/3sdBlPN.jpg

earlier in the issue, the new earth universe is referred to as a mortal universe

^which indeed indicates that the whole multiverse exists in bubbles in new genesis.

now shivaa attacks, and is beginning to destroy existence, and you will notice how insignificant entire planets are compared to even superman and orion, why is that? orion himself explains, as i said earlier that the whole multiverse exists in bubbles in new genesis, and since now that superman is in new genesis (and the motherbox altered his size as he traveled to new genesis) he himself can dwarf entire worlds

though he didn't treat orion and superman as merely annoyances, however he was defeated by his own power, when orion blasted him through the hole (which he created to destory all existence) sending him right to the source wall.

Thanks for the scans. Who do you got in terms of the fight?

Who do you think wins ?

no problem.

obviously, sivaa wins since he's operating on a much higher level than the destroyer, but if they are put on the same level (like rage said), it would be close but hard determine, the fact that orion and superman did give him a good fight definitely suggests that destroyer has a chance, still going with sivaa though, too much plot was involved in his demise.

Based on what evidence does he operate on a higher level ?

^already explained it in my post which golgo quoted, and i provided evidence by posting scans.

I didn't see any evidence which supported him operating on another level.

the evidence is right in front of you.

all universes (multiverse) exist inside bubbles in the fourth world:

http://i.imgur.com/3sdBlPN.jpg

and when superman arrives there, he can dwarf entire worlds/planets:

http://i.imgur.com/9mRPz6k.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/0dSU6E6.jpg

sivaa is already in the fourth world thus he operates on a higher level of existence. Simple.

No, since whoever goes to see him this then changes. It's also just size. Destroyer operates on a much higher level.

Doomsday did not fight giants. Size won't deter the Destroyer here anyways.

Does being in that higher dimension makes you stronger/More powerful?
