Well, the fact that Sentry's probably going to kick Thor's ass if Remender's word is any indicator should be enough for the fans that want his power level/status to be respected. And Remender's Uncanny Avengers is nothing short of one of the best titles Marvel has at the moment.

I have little doubt that Sentry will go back to being dead when it's all said and done, but he will be, at the very least, be portrayed as a powerhouse and won't be "Bendis'd".

Of course he's going to go back to being dead and who do you think is going to do that? Also, I cant wait for the amped excuses for the first fight to be thrown around. Its a no win situation.

Nah, Remender said he was tired of seeing people who have no business fighting Thor, let alone beating him up, face off against him so he wanted to bring in a legitimate threat who could give Thor a hell of a fight and then some. I believe Thor will be competitive as hell and look good, but I personally don't think he'll beat Sentry straight up in their first encounter. In their second encounter, Thor may wind up having a crazy metal as phuck second wind or something, but odds are, a little plot device will be used to save the day.

He may actually reclaim his Celestial busting axe in order to beat him.
