Does Russell even have "peers" in the TB universe? Vamps get more powerful with age, and he was the oldest one by a large margin while he was around wasn't he?

And Ed's car feat is pretty superior. Bigger vehicle, more speed/momentum, less effort to stop it, and it was a huge speed feat to pretty much teleport across the parking lot to save Bella.

He was 3,00 years old but yes you are correct. In TB vamps even above you by 50 or so years are well above your league. An 1,000 year gap is huge.

They can be cut by anything a human can. Their durability is shit compared to Twilight. A stake is not a modern day weapon.

Get this, Jacob and the others weren't even werewolves. They were a clan who got "blessed" by their wolf spirits and gained the ability to shapeshift into giant wolves.
The Volturi actually hunted real lycans/werewolves to what they assumed was extinction because of how dangerous they were. And the only reason it worked is because werewolves were solitary and not in complete control when they transformed. The second guy is still scared shitless of them coming back because they were extremely powerful and the Volturi suffered massive casualties hunting them down.
