Hmm, so the Black Racer's Achilles heel is his scythe? Makes sense based on the fight I posted.
You'd think he'd own New Gods as he can steal their souls but go figure. Anymore fights of his that you can think of? Trying to establish a level for him based on fights.
Because based on what I'm seeing, I'm going to give it to Hela in a straight up fight. He can try and remove her Cloak (Although it's not common knowledge) but it seems like he can be similarly crippled with his scythe thing. He did take that Superman punch like a champ.

Its in the same issue. Thor would've broken his hands bro.
I can see the reasoning behind it but at the same time, Superman's hand is smoking and he was blown back so there was definitely some sort of energy released by the Black Racer. I'm not willing to attribute it to either completely.
Not really.

He literally embodies Death, though, so I'd *think* that alone should put him above Hela, but admittedly, I know nothing about her.

Cant see the pics, but how does this translate in a victory for Hela?

Yeah, he would've broken his entire arm.

The scar which was shown by that blast was explicitly stated to be caused by superman.
1) superman's folly against the black racer. in other words he over-stepped his boundaries and got punished. the little exchange after that narration even reiterated that.
2) the same exact energy that black racer is using to carry that guy is what is all over the panel there where superman is being flung back. you can see the same energy outline and everything
3) smoking hand from energy discharge

It was explicitly his attack that caused the shockwave and scarred the moon.Yeah, he would've broken his entire arm.
What PG said. At no point was it explicitly made clear. You need to stop passing off your interpretation as some kind of non-debatable fact. All the art points to Black Racer discharging energy and the narration can be taken a number of ways. And I know how important artistic evidence is to you. 🙂
By punching a New God who's hardly invulnerable? Thor's not that fragile. And he'd laugh at Superman being deterred because his fist has a little boo boo.

In terms of "status", Black Racer should be above Hela.
Yeah, definitely. He seems to be a representative of Abstract Death. Unfortunately what years of comics have taught us, it's that status =/= power.

Also "His grief and folly" was specified in the same sentence. There was no indication that Racer did anything there.
Where? The scene where there was a shockwave ripping through?
Energy blasts don't make smoking hands either. If superman was really hit by an energy blast, his whole body would've been smoking.

My bad. Thor would've broken every bone in his body.

Where? But I just remembered him blasting Superman away:
Still, hardly something that puts him above Hela. Especially since Clark wasn't 100% or anything IIRC.
I'm curious, how did you connect these 2 scans? I've never seen them posted side by side or one after the other. How did you assume that that 2nd scan was right after the first in the same book?
Do you see the black racer blasting superman? Where did the parademons appear from? or apokolips? How? I'm really interested in your answer. Thanks

I guess... If you consider stabbing and slicing viable ways to produce shockwaves.Like I said b4, shared feat in that Gorr's face was the immovable object to Thor's unstoppable force (Mjolnir slam).
Gorr was stabbing. Mjolnir was smashing. Granted, the idea of Thor tanking stabs and cuts that produced planet-shattering shockwaves is retarded intriguing, the narration's focus on Mjolnir is prominent, obvious and unequivocal.

How did I connect the two scans? Because the second scan is the next direct scan after the first. I can point you towards the comic if you want to confirm but Abhil already did. He also explained what was happening in that scene.
If you want to know why I posted both? I flipped through the book to find the scene and I posted the second scan because I wanted to make sure I put up everything relevant. I'm not one for selective scans.

Then it would be easy to produce scans of Thor displaying planet shattering power on his own right? He has 40+ years of appearances to draw on and you know the character extremely well.
You know, it always struck me as extremely retarded when people act like nothing besides destroying a planet can cement Thor's striking power.
Also, you want planet busting scans to confirm planet busting? The entire scene puts emphasis on Mjolnir smashing and Gorr stabbing, infecting Thor from the inside etc.

So I take Thor has NEVER busted a planet by his lonesome yes?

I'm a rabid fan when I don't think Thor needs to bust a planet when he can bust Surtur's face? Okay.
Nope, I don't think so. But I don't understand why it's necessary. You're trying to use a lack of evidence as evidence that Thor couldn't have possibly provided the striking power that was busting the planet. That's faulty logic. Especially since the entire scene was emphazing Thor hitting Gorr in the face with Mjolnir.
