It's better than Avengers, imo.

Quality-wise, yes. Impact-wise, no. Nothing will beat the initial impact of seeing all the Avengers fighting side by side.

No, just all-around. Having a superhero collage isn't superior when it sacrifices enjoyable plot and overall quality. Winter Soldier had a fraction of the Avengers and was just simply a better movie, and the action was even better too.

Even though winter soldier is a better movie, I personally enjoyed the Avengers more.

Right on! Action was better, story was full and complete even went back to the first movie in great lengths, tied in the past and future together perfectly.

So after seeing the movie twice and its not even that important but I just have to ask: where the hell was Hawkeye when all of this was happening?

just out of curiosity I want to know what happened to that dude.

They didn't play him cause they had that love connection with Black Widow and Captain..and prolly didn't want the movie to be about some weird love triangle spoiling the movie.

I think he may have been recovering from Loki's mind control. Dr. Selvig went crazy after being controlled.

Or maybe he was on a mission else where.

Or maybe they want to develop a captain widow romance?

No. Widow has got the hots for hawkeye. Besides, Cap is set to romance with Sharon Carter.

I guess they just like flirting, they do make a good looking couple. 😆 😆

Seems like you need to re-watch some of the movies again.

Decent Movie, easily the best of the horrible Phase 2.

On the note of NatashaXSteve, I'm actually really glad that they went for the pseudo-buddy cop relationship rather some sort of weird, persistent sexual-tension.

Seen Captain America like 10 times and own it on blue ray, you? I liked the Action way better in this movie than Avengers, it was more believable and real to me.

Nevermind.

Just got it 😆

I do wonder if Avengers is going to be something people look back on and go 'really, this was one of the biggest movies of the generation?' And we'll all just smile and say 'you had to be there.'

The most prominent build up movie in cinematic history. Definitely a landmark

Really enjoyed this. Far far better than the 1st attempt but then I generally don't like origin movies. Too slow. This was definitely the best action movie of the Avengers related movies so far. I prefer the Avengers as an overall piece of entertainment. It had better direction, dialogue. This had better characterization obviously a benefit of having less characters to focus on. It's certainly up there with the best comic book movies so far. A solid 8/10
