Tutorials don't necessarily give accurate lore information, even if the gameplay stuff is. Umah is still a fallible character.
Annd besides, weren't you saying just a minute ago that it "doesn't say Kain"? Wouldn't you have to prove that Umah's statements above vampires apply to Kain as well?

Umah' statements were in reference to Kain.
umah's statement means we could at best compare most vampires to something like a mountain lion in speed.
you know, a few times faster than a person in a sprint.
but if I had a sword like those knights, i wouldn't have an issue hitting a mountain lion in close range either.
it's not like its reflexes are more than a few fractions of a second greater than mine.
