Sure, Bryan Cranston may be a big name, but he will do an excellent job as Lex.

Doesn't change the fact that WB's strategy for these movies is relying more on star power for hype than Marvel's does.

Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing isn't really the point. There are pros and cons to that strategy.

It's not just an observation if its worded as a complaint.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I'm not the biggest fan of thir decision to get Affleck for Batman. But Cranston as Luthor is perfect casting.

It does seem that everyone except for Superman in MOS (and now it's sequel) is played by someone famous. That obviously is to boost box office potential.

To me the best casting was in First Class. It was full of actors who were semi-famous at the time, but all brilliant actors. Now people have seen their talent and they are becoming pretty famous.

So they make a sequel Batman vs. Superman which is bad enough..and they add good ole boy Ben to Opposite Henry..

Henry steals the whole movie from him.

Why

1. Cause he's Superman
2. Cause he's an awesome Superman
3. A great Clark
4. Because Ben Affleck is Batman

Actually I see Bryan Cranston stealing this movie as Lex by far.

Better put Lex in his armored suit.

he's famous for his breaking bad tv role.. if he applies that to lex then the role will be fine

The video helped a little, but I still would prefer someone else as Batman.

I'm still waiting on who will play Lex Luthor. I know Bryan Cranston is the highly rumored man right now, but I expect WB to surprise everyone again.

I've only watched a select handful of episodes of Breaking Bad however Cranston playing Lex seems to look like an excellent choice

He's not said he's playing the Riddler. Just that he wants to. So there's no reason not to believe him.
