Even if Goyer is still involved, the fact that they took the script away from him shows that he obviously isn't their favourite anymore. Add that to comments he made about certain DC characters, and would YOU trust him?
I wouldn't.
Why not prove it, after all you wanted me to offer proof as well so it goes both ways, not just one... So they took the script away, happens out the fracking time here in hollywood.. Besides having more screenwriters working should turn out hopefully good storytelling... He was right about Martian Manhunter so unless you have proof that John J'onnz will be in Batman v. Superman or Justice League than lets see it.. Why the frack not trust the man, you might hate him but for me, he helped bring back Batman.. He also helped bring back Superman so obviously the WB still does since ya know like Darth Power said he was there at Comic Con so yeah they must still trust the man too..

The only things Disney really effed up for Marvel was the cartoons. From top to bottom. But I believe everything going on with the movies was Marvel's plan from start to finish. I can't really think of any other ways Disney is supposedly interfering.
Several things changed as regards the comics after Disney took over. I'm not going to claim that all of them are down to Disney, but i'd be surprised if none of them were.

You're asking me to prove a negative. Think about that for a second.
Goyer worked with Nolan a lot, and tbh, I think Nolan is the one that kept him in line. You really think Goyer was right to say this:
“Well, he hasn’t been rebooted but he’s a mainstay in the Justice League. He can’t be ****ing called the Martian Manhunter because that’s goofy. He can be called Manhunter… The whole deal with Martian Manhunter is he’s an alien living amongst us… So he comes down to Earth and decides, unlike Superman who already exists in the world now, that he’s just going to be a homicide detective… So instead of using super-powers and mind-reading and like, oh, I could figure out if the President’s lying or whatever, he just decides to disguise himself as a human homicide detective. Dare to dream!”
Really?
I honestly get the impression that any trust they had in the man largely evaporated after Nolan left. This is the guy that wanted to modernise Superman by making him like the John Byrne version. He's also the man that, imo, is largely responsible for a lot of the issues people have with MOS.
You obviously like him, and that's fine. I don't.

think about what??? All i said was that he prolly is still involved, that is neither negative nor positive, You're the one that took it that way.. I merely responded in kind. I am sick and tired of this bullshiite.. I have every damn right to come in here and give my damn opinion on things...

Yeah I'd trust Geoff Johns to direct the DC Movieverse over David Goyer anyday.
not after that piece of shiite called Green Lantern .. however if Johns proves he can handle DC's Cinematic Universe by telling Snyder and whoever else want to do then he should go a long way..

Yeah, Goyer is only good in small doses.

What the hell, man? Nobody is saying you have no right.
Well, except maybe Golgo.

Really have no idea what happened with the GL movie considering it was the creators of Arrow who wrote that.
And I'm sure Geoff Johns has at least a dozen comic book stories which would have been great in live action.
So yeah. No idea what happened there.

I've always thought that they probably didn;t read enough Green Lantern comics and Johns probably should have rewrote the script . If the script had been rewritten then it might have been much better

If that's what you want, all right. shrug
Honestly, I always felt they should have just adapted Johns' origin for Hal from the comic and gone with that.

Agreed. It was a much simpler story, and of course it had enough hints in it at things that would happen later on that you could build a franchise on it.

I still say Green lantern Corps would be the best way to proceed with a green lantern movie.
I would love to see GLC as a movie, but I don't think it would work without introducing Guy and Kyle properly first.

I actually think a GLC movie would be the perfect avenue to introduce them. It could really be like DC's Gotg.
I think something like the Green Lantern: First Flight animated movie would have worked well. Have the story be about the first human trying to fit on this Intergalactic Police Force, and in the end proving himself to all of them.
Because honestly the stuff on OA, how the GLC didn't like him, and his training session with Kilowog. That was actually all pretty cool.
But all that s*** with the racing car on Earth, and Hector Hammond and Ferris, and Hal going it alone to save Earth. That was all just shhiitte.
Also the Direction was poor. Him randomly walking home in pure daylight and then the ring just grabs him and takes him to Abin Sur was a really poorly done scene. And it was too important a scene to boch up..
Have his plane crash there (like in JL The new Frontier), or show the ring trying to find the right person(like in Superman the animated series). Or have the ring go to him a few times, and he keeps throwing it away but it keeps coming back, which freaks him out.
Anything! Just make a damn good scene for him finding the ring and Abin Sur.

Except Hector Hammond was in the story which -Pr- & BruceSkywalker were discussing, Along with Atrocities.
Well I've not read that story so can't see how different it would be to the movie.
I'm just commenting on the parts of the movie which were good, and could have been expanded upon to make the film much better, (which is basically how Green Lantern: First Flight did it). And the parts of the film which were crap which should have just been left out of the movie (all the stuff on Earth which was most the movie).
