That's exactly the problem. This Batman V Superman thing has been going on for so long, if you have a teaser now, it will increase excitement for it, but then it will just fade down again in a few months, just when they need to really start pumping the hype up.

I think they should leave it now for around the Avengers release time Imo. Then just keep pumping the hype.

i understand what you are saying however if WB really wants this film to be a success it is never too late to start some sort o marketing push/buzz... they could try to get the jump on Marvel(if thats even possible) and then start up in the summer and ramp up the marketing..

Major BATMAN v SUPERMAN Details On Batman's Role, Doomsday Battle, And Much More

Spoiler:
More Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice details have found their way online, and they reveal plenty of new information about the highly anticipated 2016 release. According to Badass Digest, the movie kicks off with Batman's origin story (which we've seen filming) before picking up with Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne as he arrives in Metropolis during the fight between Superman and General Zod from Man of Steel. Things then jump ahead a couple of years, with the attention very much on Superman as we learn that he's now living with Lois Lane and works full-time at The Daily Planet. However, after being assigned to cover a football game between Metropolis and Gotham City, it appears as if he's actually much more interested in writing about the Caped Crusader!

Batman v Superman also examines how the latter is viewed by the rest of the world, with an appearance in the Middle East (where he arrives to assist Lois) resulting in an international incident. There's also a lot of Man of Steel follow-up too, with Superman apparently telling one villain - it's not specified who exactly - that, "I won't snap your neck, I'm going to take you to prison." However, he later threatens to break their back when he loses his temper! Dark. As for Doomsday, General Swanwick apparently, "tells the military that Superman will move the battle away from populated areas because he's a hero, and that's what heroes do." The site adds that most people in the movie view Superman as a hero, expect for Lex Luthor (obviously) and Batman, who actually preps anti-Superman weapons! Thoughts on these latest details? Still too early IMO.

We only got the first Ant-Man trailer now, and it's out in 6 months. Feb 6 will still be over a year for B v S.

I think Ant-Man ran behind production though so that may be why. Star Wars did it 13 months before the release date and it worked out.

Avengers2 was also like 7-8 months I think. Definitely wasn't as far back as a year.

A SW7 type teaser a year before the movie is to be released would be fine I guess.

has this feb 6 date been confirmed????

It's only projected, guys. Not confirmed.

Did anybody hear the rumor that Batman v. Superman is gonna be split into two movies with part 1 to be released this year?

I would be all for this, and it makes sense too

^ Nah. There would be more hype saving it for a single movie Imo. No point dragging it out and milking it for every penny like they did with The Hobbit.

We've waited long enough for BvS now. Just give us the movie in 1 piece. But makes sure it's frigging Awesome before you give it us.

It's not officially confirmed. Not until we get an actual source.

Hey, the Hobbit is going to make over a billion dollars. One of the only few films that made a billion last year. For people who are going to see this, will see it either way.
