Pretty much everything up until the introduction of Parallax is perfectly fine. Sure, I didn't like the suit or Blake Lively, but it was good enough that I was enjoying it.
Then they went and ****ed it up and ruined the entire rest of the second act and all of the third.
whoever is cast as the next Green Lantern should have a much better film..

Yeah....making the movies more edgier and darker is a better thing.. 🙄
clearly he has been talking to Christopher Nolan... hmmmmmm.....hmmmmm
Speaking of GL, how would you guys feel about this?
HOT RUMOR! #GREENLANTERN UPDATE! The name I keep hearing & floating around, is Chris Pine for Hal Jordan. Yes, Captain Kirk. Again, this is still just a RUMOR hence UNCONFIRMED. Been hunting this one for a while so the search is still ongoing. How do you guys feel about it, IF again a big IF, it is indeed true?#HalJordan #JUSTICELEAGUE #DC #DCCU#batmanvsuperman #Warners via umbertogonzalez@instagram
Can studios not find anyone new? They just recycle the same ppl for every single role, it gets ****ing irritating.
What if Marvel just went for the established movie stars rather search for the most talented and fresh actors? I'll tell you, we'd probably have Patrick Dempsey and Ryan Reynolds as Stark and Thor instead of RDJ and Hemsworth.

You don't think Robert Downey Jr. was established? He was nominated for an Oscar and was well known throughout the 80's as one of the members of the Brat pack.

That doesn't mean he wasn't already established, though. Plus, he was in Zodiac before Iron Man, which also helped his career get a small boost.
If you think that's established star power you're fvcking insane

He was relatively unknown to the general public and his movie career was in the shit stall. RDJ's talent was known to the very few who'd seen his work, and most of his popularity came from legal trouble and the Betty Ford clinic. If you think that's established star power you're fvcking insane
Very few? Everyone I know, knows who RDJr was. I meant he was a an established artist in terms of acting chops and respect. Of course he was unknown compared to today, but he wasn't a complete unknown.
Everyone you know? Well, that's a blatant lie.
Before 2008, RDJ was popular for legal trouble. Very few ppl in the general public had ever seen Chaplin or kkbb. While his talent was certainly established to those few who'd seen his work, he never had any kind of star power or box office draw before 2008.
In RDJs case, marvel hired him for his talent rather than star power or box office draw. DC just seems lazy.

Ah to be fair Henry Caville was an unknown. And Marvel's 2nd film starred Edward Norton and Liv Tyler (which actually didn't do too well).
But I think at this stage it's more to do with DC not having that Brand name yet which Marvel has. So for an unknown property like Suicide Squad(for example) they're going to give us Star power and cameos by popular characters to sell it.
Also I wouldn't say Chris Pine is that famous yet. But I do think he would own the Hal Jordan role. (If the rumour is true).
We've been over this before. Wb has hired unknowns before. It's not about if an unknown actor should be hired, it's which actor would best be suited for the role.
And no, it's not a lie. Everyone I know did know who Downey was. I never said he was the most well known star, just that he was hardly an unknown.

I'm sure Chris Pine would be an awesome Hal Jordan, but that's not my point. The guy was rumored for just about every damn character. People were advocating for a Chris Pine batman, a Chris Pine Flash, a Chris Pine aquaman and now a Chris Pine Green Lantern. There's more than just 1 actor in Hollywood capable of leading a franchise. I mean, look outside the ****ing box a little.
I don't have the same problem with marvel because I trust that they search for the best talent. DC I don't trust yet. They seem to just go for big names, like Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne in MoS.

Ive thought Chris pine was the right guy to play Hal Jordan ever since Star trek. Even when they were casting for the original green lantern I was saying Pine is the guy. It would be amazing if that turned out to be true.
I was thinking the same thing once JLA was announced. Pine would do the role justice. 😛
He was one of the only good things about Horrible Bosses If anyone has seen that.
