Sorry, no offense or anything, but Heard is exactly what they should avoid: typical, skinny; facially pretty yes, but "sexy" in body only by current, conventional, fashion(profit)-driven standards. Does not convey strength, power, warriorness at all.
Maybe if they bulk her up, ala Hemsworth/Jackman. At least she has the height (and please: no stringy Linda Hamilton muscles).
But Hollywood is gonna funk this up...I see it comin'.

Nah, I think it'll be fine. Affleck wouldn't accept if this was a trainwreck., Just MO.
Btw, just saw Thor: TDW. Sometimes, when Jaimie Alexander was on screen, I would think, So, there they are: Thor and Diana.
If they muscle her up a bit, Jaimie would work really well as WW, imo.
Originally posted by Golgo13I'm not concerned about the movie. Yeah, after Daredevil (which, imo, is underrated), you'd think Ben would be especially careful.

It's who they're gonna cast as Diana that has me worried.
Originally posted by Femi32This is why, whoever they pick, they should beef her up a bit, like they do with the male actors. I liked Jaimie because of her face and warrior attitude she's able to project.
Amber lacks a derrierre, but so does Jamie, and people are clamoring for her to be Wonder Woman. They also have similar body types. I don't see why she shouldn't have a serious audition for Wonder Woman.
Antje Traue (Faora) wouldn't be bad, either. I could see her looking almost like an Alex Ross Wonder Woman (which I know many don't like, but heck, AR's WW looks like a warrior, today's conventional standards of "beauty" be damned.
Strength/attitude first, then looks. If Hollywood does the reverse, I think it will be a big mistake. They need to cast outside the box, and that they haven't so far is probably why a WW movie has staled (I believe once they get the right actress, then it will also be easier to modify the costume for the big screen).
Adam Driver says the Nightwing rumors aren't true. So, you can all settle down.

Any one of them (including Jaimie) is gonna have to pack on at least 15 pounds of muscle to be convincing. Jaimie's got the best face for WW, though Elodie isn't bad, either (would like to see her with blue contacts).
But more and more, I think Hollywood is gonna be typical and cast a stick, then hype her all to hell, trying to convince us how great she looks.
This is gonna be almost as bad as Tom Cruise as Lestat.
