He's sort of right and sort of wrong in places, but it's encouraging that he actually explains some of the things people were most annoyed about.

Yep:

With Zod, Snyder argued, Superman had no other choice.

"He's fighting his equal. He has no advantage," said Snyder. "Zod's a warrior, has trained his entire life, can fight 100 times better than Superman. Technically, he's outgunned in that scenario, and he should lose."

Snyder estimated that about 5,000 people died in Metropolis as a result of the fight between Zod and Superman, "There's a sadness to the end of the movie — there's a human price, and that's what weighs on Superman. This is his first time out — he's learning," Snyder said.

^ So for the people who were complaining that the mass deaths were forgotten about by the end of the movie and Clark didn't really give a s***, they're wrong. And it will be followed up in the sequel. And he's also confirmed it only happened because Clark's still a Noob at this point.

which is why I believe Kal will hold back when he fights Batman for the first time and going forward, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Bruce teaches him a few things

Tom Hanks is rumored to play Lex.

Would be awesome, IMO. I love Hanks.

So is that guy from Lost, Terry O'Quinn

Hanks a great actor, but don't really think he's is a perfect Luthor fit tbh. Although him being Lex would guarantee box office. Any movie that stars him makes a good 400-500 mill, and that's a normal movie. Something like this would be huge with Hanks boosting it.

It's hard to believe that nonsense about Zod being Clark's equal and being a warrior who outgunned him and shit when you consider that Superman beat his ass under his own power. No tricks necessary, no deuce ex machina, no plot-device, he literally just brawled him into submission.

Zack Snyder needs to calm his ****.

Well it would be a good change to see him in a fun role for once. Picturing him bald in the suit, he would probably knock it out of the park as Lex. I approve.

It makes more sense when you consider that Clark has had all those years of experience with his powers and all those years of prolonged sunlight exposure. Zod's many years of combat experience pretty much levelled the playing field between the two.

O'Quinn > Strong.

Hanks? Not sure if that's a good idea, so much as a profit-driven idea. Still, it could work.

Basically, I don't need a tough-looking Lex. We did tough with Zod. Now I wanna see smart, cunning, savy, someone who's in cool, steely control and smoulders when pissed, no histrionics.

I always liked Brown's Lex on Superman: TAS. He's right up there with Hamill's Joker.

If Hanks wants the job he'll get it.

Hopefully, Guillermo del Toro will be apart of the DC cinematic universe. Both Snyder and Guillermo are 2 visionary appealing directors.

We’re still on (Justice League Dark), writing, and hopefully it will happen but there are no developments that are new. It’s still at Warner Bros., they are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark. They’re planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan.

Del Toro is dope, can't care much about Snyder to be honest.

I can see him better as the Riddler than Luthor for some reason.

Katy Perry would make a good Wonder Woman if she could act.

The way this movie is being cast, I wouldn't be surprised if she got the part.

Nah, he'd make a better Lex. He wouldn't need to shave his head, either. He could go the way of Gene Hackman, who played a decent Lex.

Wouldn't be any trouble for him to shave his head tho, may as well keep the look as close to the comics as possible.

We don't have anyone confirmed except Affleck and the crew from MOS. I think Amber Heard should have an audition for the role.
