As much as I hated Jesse being cast as Lex, I enjoyed his take in the trailer. You can't say he's a bad actor.

You realise that if you have to keep saying that you're something, it usually means you aren't. Protesting too much, etc.

As far as Jesse goes... He is a capable actor. This Lex, either way, is going to be very different from Hackman, Shea, Rosenbaum, Brown and of course Spacey. Whether that's a good or bad thing... I don't know. We'll see, I guess.

I think he's an awful choice but we will see. You can remain optimistic.

That's a positive sign, but honestly doesn't mean much. TDKR also got a standing ovation in a private screening, and most people agree that's the worst of the Nolan Batman films.

I still feel that is, but it is still a good movie and it's a far better third run than Iron Man 3.

Oh that goes without saying.
Nolan's Batman trilogy is one the best trilogy's of all time Imo. Whilst Iron Man 1 is one of my favorite superhero movies of all time, the Iron Man trilogy overall is pretty Meh.
Anyway point being WB giving themselves a standing ovation at a private screening isn't anything to get excited about. But simultaneously it isn't a bad sign either, and there doesn't really seem to be any bad signs coming out from this film anymore.

If it's true, this is starting to sound a little overstuffed, because Doomsday should be a standalone villain.
My guess, looking at the trailers, is that Lex managed to clone an evil minded version of Supes - Bizarro - and that's who the trinity team up to fight.

TDKR certainly deserves a standing ovation, whether it be the worst in the trilogy or not. That's all a matter of opinion. At my screening, people clapped and cheered at the end.
As for DD, I'm all for it. We need a proper threat to start off the Justice League. Doomsday just makes sense compared to someone like Metallo or Amazo. This epic saga is going to be one gigantic story, so I can't wait to see how it unfolds.

Supes won't be willing to deal out another death blow in another movie. Batman's psychologically blocked about killing...so I hope we get to see their shocked faces when Diana steps up and decapitates this foe in front of them. 😉
