BTW, DC/WB is going to make Justice League Dark (all MAGIC team), so saying they are going to get rid of Amazon's is silly.

When did DC/WB say they were going to make a JL Dark movie? because all I heard was Guillermo del Toro saying that he want to make it,however WB never said they will make it.

Del Toro said WB wants to focus on some mystical side of the DCU and JD Dark is it. It just has to fit in with their plans.

Who?

...You're kidding, right?

There's speculation that Kara Zor El will be the ancestor of the Amazons. She left the ship 10, 000 years before Kal found it. I hope it's not true.

That would be stupid, tbh.

Ok but WB wants to do a lot of DC stuff dont mean that any of these movies will ever be made. Because it looks like WB does not wont to do any movies unless batman or superman is in it.

Time will tell, but they are expanding the DC cinematic universe with big and low budget films. Doesn't mean they won't do it. And from the looks of it, they will. They're already producing a lot of TV shows that aren't Batman/Superman.

If you're talking about Katy Perry, then yes, she does resemble Linda Carter. I said she couldn't act before, but I just remembered she did a voiceover for Smurfette. She did a good job with the few clips I've seen. Maybe she has some acting talent. Jennifer Hudson wowed everybody in Dreamgirls. Maybe Katy will do the same one day. Just not as Wonder Woman. 🙁

Gal Gadot has her work cut out for her. I would've liked her as Talia instead. She's from Israel and would make a believable Arabian (sorry Marion Cotillard). Even then, she would need to bulk up just to look like a decently healthy woman her height.

It would.

Let's just wait for this movie, which is actually shooting, to come out and take the other announcements with a grain of salt. DC & Warners are notorious for making announcements of movie projects that never get made, far more than it ever happens at Marvel these days.

Remember when Akiva Goldsmith was developing Doom Patrol? When Barry Sonnenfeld was championing Metal Men? When Guy Ritchie was going to make Lobo, then it was Sgt. Rock, then Lobo again, then back to Sgt. Rock (deciding to set him in the far future! 👇 )...then, he just walked away without making anything.

DC Entertainment is going at this much slower than people think or want - yet in the end, it seems they are rushing towards Justice League at the same time. 😬

(And by the time DC Entertainment will be ready to make a Justice League Dark/Shadowpact movie, I bet Marvel will already have snapped up Guillermo Del Toro to make Dr. Strange instead. 😄 )

Del Toro is bigger fan of the mystic side of DC than Doctor Strange. Plus, he's already stated that he has a writer that's working on it right now.

Yeah, but he was also passionate about The Hobbit and At The Mountains Of Madness too, but ended up walking from the former and the latter got the plug pulled on him.

We're going to have to see how DC will treat magic in the forthcoming movie(s), then we'll know how well JLD can be realized. Wonder Woman coming into the picture, this is the same jump Marvel made with Thor, bridging the realistic science fiction world with the fantastic. We'll have to see how toned to the larger story it is. Christopher Nolan is still grandfathering this, and he hasn't shown a love for fantasy as yet. I'll be disappointed if they get all hard science with Diana and the Amazons.

Last I heard, Nolan dropped out. It's true that Del Toro pulls out of projects, but WB seems very serious in developing MORE DC properties in ALL mediums as Tsujihara has stated. And they have in spades. Around 6 or 7 DC properties will be coming to the small screen and was recently reinforced by Geoff Johns. Can't wait for those.

Might have to watch Arrow, since people have been saying great things.

Pretty cool.

Never quite bought into the hype, but damn, the body is just right in that pic.

H'm. That almost makes Gadot look good.

Give her some training time. Chris Hemsworth just looked like a fit surfer when he got cast for Thor, and got jacked out of his mind for the role. Gal Gadot just needs some extra muscle tone, and she'll look fine.

This should mean that show Amazon is being scrapped, right? I mean, DC & Warners wouldn't try having two different actresses for this role? (...even though they thought that way once before, for Bats & Supes in the aborted JL movie... 😖hifty: )

I've mentioned before, putting on muscle/weight can only help someone so much. As January Jones showed us in First Class, you either have the matching body type or you don't. Weight/muscle tone comes into play after that.
