Gadot could make it work facially, especially if she projects the right attitude (maybe why she was cast). But body-wise, I'm tellin' ya: WB is gonna push standard stick hype. Even if they turn her into a Linda Hamilton Terminator 2 clone (which was all the rage back then), that's still a stick. They're gonna cave to convention rather than respect the character.
Poor Diana. Her big-screen debut will suffer because women are victims of fashion and WB doesn't have the balls to think outside the box.

If you're talking about Katy Perry, then yes, she does resemble Linda Carter. I said she couldn't act before, but I just remembered she did a voiceover for Smurfette. She did a good job with the few clips I've seen. Maybe she has some acting talent. Jennifer Hudson wowed everybody in Dreamgirls. Maybe Katy will do the same one day. Just not as Wonder Woman. 🙁Gal Gadot has her work cut out for her. I would've liked her as Talia instead. She's from Israel and would make a believable Arabian (sorry Marion Cotillard). Even then, she would need to bulk up just to look like a decently healthy woman her height.
It would.
Oh that. I honestly don't know if she can act at all.

I've mentioned before, putting on muscle/weight can only help someone so much. As January Jones showed us in First Class, you either have the matching body type or you don't. Weight/muscle tone comes into play after that.
Yup.

I watched her take off her robe, revealing her stick-thin, formless body, and I threw up in my mouth a little.
😂
Yeah, she is way too thin.
However, my biggest problem is I haven't seen anything to suggest she has the charisma or acting talent to carry a blockbuster. Hell, she can hardly speak English!
This is a move that might be great, or too bold for fans.
Zack Snyder is courting a great actor to be Lex Luthor -
Denzel Washington. 🤨

I would FckING LOVE that decision. Denzel is one of my favs and he can play a bad ass villain.

I heard about that one last week. Last week was crazy for comic book live action news.
Lex: Superman ain't got sh*t on me!

doubt it would actually happen but he would be a great choice
Originally posted by roughriderConverting Perry White to Laurence Fishburn was a great move. Would converting Lex be PC overkill? (Otherwise, he wouldn't be a bad choice at all: 'American Gangster' anyone?). How many changes will they make? They even gave Lois red hair (though Amy makes it work).

Plus, we already had one villain changed: Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin (which also was a great move).
How many good white guys can we have fighting evil black guys?
Or maybe we just ignore race and look at the person who we know will do a great job in the role.
Affleck might be the same color as Bruce Wayne but I don't have faith in him portraying the role well. Same with Gal Gadot.
Whilst Denzel is a different color to Lex, but who cares when you know he will own the role?
