No he wasn't.. It was confirmed by multiple outlets that Affleck was walking around town here in los angeles joyfully playing with his kids.. Also just last week, Affleck was at the Producer Awards(Can't remember the exact name of the show) but its the one where he was talking about a certain body part, anyway he clearly was walking fine..Also take a moment and think about it, If Affleck was injured than where is the press release from WB stating that " Mr. Affleck was injured that requires him to rest or need surgery, whatever the case might have been)" ... No such statement exists from them.. Remember when RDJ sprained his ankle while filming Iron Man 3, Marvel issued the press release stating the injury and how long production was gonna be shut down, then once RDJ healed up, production started and the film was finished
its true.. from the original date to the next several months would have given WB bragging rights most likely as people would have flocked to see this.. But now just about 2 years later and many excuses from WB will people even care to see this in 2916?? since this is in direct competition with I believe X-Men: Apocalypse, that doesn;t give WB not enough time to make a ton of money
Oh, okay.
Still, I don't see how that makes them cowards.

because they should not have moved out of the original date and give half ass excuses especially after making a big splash at Comic Con and then announcing the date .. this film is going to define more of Cavil as Supes .. it will also define whether or not people except Afffleck as the new Batman.. Darth Power is right, waiting another year may or may not make this a better movie than it already could have been.. he is also right about people having high expectations "cough" golgo 13 "cough" 😂 😄
my expectations are simple, a good story, good cgi, a good batsuit and another grand take on bruce/batman

It's simple really. People make whatever narrative suits them in order to go along with their predetermined hate of DC/WB/whatever.
People make up narratives for Disney's Marvel too and ignores reality. Iron Man 2 is a good example of how narratives trump everything.

Too high expectations usually lead to disappointment since everyone has different standards that they want met. That was the real problem with The Phantom Menace Imo. People were expecting the second coming, so criticize the movie a lot more than it deserves Imo.
And pushing Batman vs Superman back a year is only going to raise expectations even more. Because people will be like, "considering how long they spent on this, I was expecting much more."

Usually, but not all the time. I'm hoping this will be the exception.
And the general public could care less about the delay of a movie. Only comic followers and movie buffs (some of them) will care. Which is a small percentage of the movie goers.

The general public doesn't follow the production of movies 24/7. They'll quickly forget of it's delayed release.
The general public lose interest if the time period between films is too long- Unless they see the First one as Epic e.g. Batman Begins and TDK. MOS was good, but I doubt many people saw it as epic.
It's much easier to get box office when you can get another film out quickly and keep the hype going. Examples are the Lord of the Rings movies being produced back to back. Each one of those movies made more and more with each sequel.
Same with the Avengers. They had Thor and CA the year before, and IM2 the year before that. So the hype just built up to a massive amount by the time that movie was released.
People say ST:Into Darkness could have made much more if not for such a long delay(and apparently people were expecting more as well). Abrams is known for delaying stuff, but with the new SW Disney just said screw you, we'll give you a delay of a few months (so you've got no excuses later), but we want this film by 2015. End of.

more good points.. also with Star Trek Into Darkness, J.J. goofed by not coming out and saying Cumberbatch was Khan
