Will Ben Affleck Direct 'Justice League' Movie?
bits of information are starting to trickle out, and there is some informed speculation worth considering at this point, including whetherBatman vs. Superman will be followed by a Justice League movie, and who will be sitting in the director’s chair on a project that could be worth a couple of billion dollars at the box office
Within a few months of joining the production, Affleck had provided plenty of input and brought Oscar-winning Argo scribe Chris Terrio in to do rewrites on the script.
should we start discussing the possibility that Warner might be negotiating with Ben Affleck to direct Justice League?
This is a project Affleck was previously offered, after all, and he was their top choice at the time. Additionally, the schedule could make it hard for Snyder to helm both films. And a big hint might’ve come from the news this week thatAffleck has pulled out of directing The Middle Man pilot — and if that was merely due to his role in Batman vs. Superman, why did it take this many months for him to withdraw, since shooting for the movie has actually barely been delayed at all (and it still has a shot at starting on time after all, it seems)? Perhaps Affleck’s schedule is being rearranged to make room for aJustice League directing job.

I agree, but only in the context that he actually shows us that he can work in the superhero genre as well as he can in others.
I hope so, but I think Ben is smart enough to know what his limits are as a director. If I was a high profile director, I should know whether or not I can direct a multi billion dollar franchise.

You say that like all his movies are bad, or something.
Snyder is like a more ultra violent version of Michael Bay. His films have gotten a little more critical respect than Bay, but all of them have gotten somewhat mixed to lousy reviews. It's telling when his highest ranked movie on Rotten Tomatoes is the Dawn Of The Dead remake, at 75%. 300 & Watchmen are at 60% & 64%, respectfully, and everything else is rotten.
