WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

Just too early to tell. Need to see a trailer. But I think it should pass the Billion mark WW. Heck the last 2 Batman films alone passed the Billion mark, and plus MOS made well over $600mill ww which is pretty good for a reboot. So a MOS sequel without Batman would probably have been looking in the region of $700-800mill ww.

So yeah should pass a Billion as long as it's decent/good. If it's really good, then we will be looking at Avengers type box office.

MOS sold a crap load on Blueray and DVD. More than IM 3 and Thor. So, a lot of people will continue to look forward to it. I doubt the gap will have any influence over the overall box office.

I know it's too early, I just wanted some predictions, so when it does come out, I'll look back and see who was right and who was wrong.

I predict 2 Billion on it's first day.

I don't think any realistic prediction can be made until we see a trailer. lucky guesses are nice, though, I guess.

It's an automatic that the trailer will be gold. I mean that's what Snyder does USUALLY. Over hypes the trailers. Makes them even better than the film itself.

Even so, the trailer will still give us an idea of the movie itself. I honestly don't think there's a way to reasonably gauge how well the movie will do.

Yeah all we can say at this point is that it has the potential to be the biggest superhero movie of all time.

But potential is very different to what ends up happening.

Hey? Thor 2's not available to buy yet. If your talking about Thor 1 then that's expected since MOS made a lot more at the box office than the first Thor anyway.

snyder doesn't have anything to do with that.. trailers are made by another party..

True, but he does personally select his own trailers and they usually look better than the movie itself.

Most trailers pick the best parts from the movie, to be fair.

Yeah, but Snyder is notorious for it. I've never been fooled as much as this guy.

You say that like all his movies are bad, or something.

Most of them are.

My favorite of his are MOS and Dawn of the Dead. Watchmen was decent, too.

Where do you get your info on the sales of home video? I'd like to see these numbers.

lol, I wouldn't say most, but that's me.

Watchmen shows me that he can handle multiple characters rather well.

Watchmen, 300 and Dawn all do that, I think. Though he needs a good writer beside him, as I view Snyder as more of a visuals director rather than a storyteller.

Is there any way to tell how much money they made off of home video?

Is that just in the States or is it worldwide?
