lol @ people commenting like marvel are the douchebags, When Marvel had that date first. WarnerBros./DC are the bullies here trying to claim a date that is already taken and want Marvel to run away with their tails between their legs.

Also Just cause Marvel is standing their ground doesnt mean that they think Cap is bigger than Supes and Bats, Like some Morons are claiming.

I will see both films just like most on this board. Both movies will make a ton of money , but WB/DC has more to lose here.

Marvel didn't actually announce a name yet so it's not the same.

AH, the other typical response... seems you're the one with nothing.. at least i answered your question..

I've been on these boards for a while, thank of various people on here as friends. So I know what people will do.. I always want a good argument/debate so can you give me one or will you go the way of WB..

here lets take this one by one..

(1)INJURIES are a reason why films get pushed back/postponed

Ben Affleck's alleged injury, i said before will say so again, he had no injury, multiple websites/news outlets here in los angeles proved he was NOT hurt because he was photographed and filmed with his family and he was joyfully and gleefully playing with his daughter, he was also at a awards show which he showed no signs of injury.. also where is the press release stating he is injured and so the film is being shutdown while he recovers..

If you golgo13 have proof of this press release post it...

(2) Deaths often cause a postponement unless of course you do not know who Paul Walker was???

so who exactly died on the set of Batman v. Superman., was it Affleck? Snyder? Gadot? Cavil?? C'mon man, please tell me, what death caused the temp shutdown???

(3) Script rewrites..

It is common knowledge that scripts are rewritten on a daily basis, however it doesn't take months for a script to be actually redone..

if you think i am wrong , prove it???

I have some more, so first answer these!!!!!!!

I'm waiting.. So, nothing????

So nothing? 🙂

Why does the name of the movie Matter? All marvel movies to this point have Made decent money., and all future marvel movies are anticipated by comic fans and the non Comic crowd as well no matter what movie it is.
DC/Warner bros. Choosing the same day is straight up disrespect to marvel and arrogance on their part. They knew damn well it would be confrontational.

So yes it is the same.

Maybe DC didn't know.

lol wut

Nah, they knew. They wanted to draw more attention to the movie.

I would think DC postponed Superman/Batman because they're shooting it back-2-back with the Justice League movie. It's a possibility.

That said, the DC division of Warner Bros is full of cowards. They had a rich universe of superhero characters which they didn't have the balls to seriously invest in. Only once Marvel was successful with the Avengers did Warner Bros announce plans for a shared universe. And now WB has no patience to carefully develop their universe. They just decided to throw all their characters into a single movie at once to "keep up" with Marvel.

Disney is patient and works for quality, Warner Bros is impulsive and jumps at the money #Difference

I would laugh if WB announced the JL film for the first weekend in May of 2017.

Every studio wants to make money. Not every DC character or Marvel character is going to bring in the dough. DC does NOT have a division. Warner Bros is the one ultimately green lighting these projects. And they were serious about making a JL movie way before the Avengers came out. Unfortunately George Miller's script was supposedly horrible.

Warner Bros had a huge head-start on Marvel, and hardly any competition in the superhero genre. Warner Bros could have built a DC empire and had the monopoly on superhero movies. But no, they decided only supes and bats are bankable characters.
Marvel didn't work off of name recognition. Marvel took B-listers and made them A-listers. Warner Bros didn't have the balls to invest in their less popular characters.

Either Warner Bros is ****in dumb or cowardly, take your pick.

Like I always say, there is no race. Marvel was fortunate to bring in Feige. Someone who had a passion with the characters. They took a chance, because they had nothing to lose. Marvel's stocks were a joke and they needed to make a move.

WB has never been in that situation. They had Nolan's Batman and Harry Potter for money and they didn't need to make super hero movies.

Marvel is making up for lost time, because let's face it, Iron Man 1 didn't come out too long ago and WB was the only studio in town for super hero flicks. Now, they see that the genre can bring in money and they are slowly releasing Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman together.

Kevin Tsujihara isn't wasting any time it seems. WB has Preacher, Sandman, and a host of other DC characters that are not Batman and Superman coming to the small and big screen. Hopefully soon we'll have more, but it's always better late than never.

I would rather DC take their time. The fact that they're rushing pisses me off.

You think three years is rushing? They just delayed the movie to fully show their vision. Or whatever that means.

I will literally lol If DC/WB includes a darkseid after credits scene.

Who would you want to be the main villain in the JL movie?

Yes. Wonder Woman and Supes have to be properly developed before they're in the same movie.

2013 Man of Steel with Batman cameo
Wonder Woman movie with Batman cameo

2014 Flash Movie with Batman cameo
Green Lantern reboot with Batman cameo

2016 Batman vs. Superman with wonder woman, flash, green lantern cameo

2017 Justice League Movie

^ That's called a plan.

Batman could have been the Nick Fury of DC, except actually part of the team

I agree with Firefly218. WB are cowards for the reasons he stated. It is better to be late than never, but making a Justice League film after Batman/Superman is stupid. We may know who the characters are, but we won't know the specifics about them or connect to them without their own solo movies. If you didn't know who most of these characters were, you wouldn't feel the anticipation of them joining up without their own movies. It would just be another big movie. This is what the Avengers avoided and why it was a huge success.

Since WB is the most successful studio in the US, why don't they use that success to fast track a Wonder Woman and Aquaman movie before Justice League? They have no other DC films besides Batman vs. Superman, so they might as well.

Batman could have gathered WW, flash and green lantern to fight supes, thinking supes is the villain.
