WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

Started by WhiteWitchKing232 pages

Not a lot of people have time to see both movies it once. By the second week bad word of mouth of the movie they havent seen could cause them not to got see it. Also, some people dont have money to shell out for two movies. Either way, would suck money from warner bros anyways.

Yeah, true, money is still tight in todays economy. However, that just leads to it would damage both movies, however, if BVS still makes it's money back (probably will), it won't hurt it's future in making more DC movies.

Who thinks Cap 3 would still lose to WB if Marvel announce it as Captain America: Civil War?

So after the age of Ultron occurs and the government decides to ressurect SHIELD and force the various heroes to register there where abouts and activities. Tony agrees with Nick, but Cap disagrees.

Letsay this was their casting.

Iron Man team:
Warmachine
Fury
Hawkeye
Ant Man
Quicksilver
Maria Hill
Iron Man armors/Hammer Drones
General Ross

Cap team:
Widow
Falcon
Hulk
Scarlet Witch
Thor
Winter Soldier

Love the line up.. I have a sneaky feeling I suspect I know what Cap 3 will be about but will wait to see if i am right.. I doubt anyway that Cap 3 will lose to Bats/Supes.. Right now people are more invested into what is going to happen in Age of Ultron which will clearly lead into Cap 3... Looking at the success of Cap: Winter Soldier that will heighten the awareness even moreso for Cap 3 as well Age of Ultron because no doubt about it there will be elements in that that will spin out into Cap 3

LOL at BVS losing to Cap 3. Everyone knows that movie will beat it at the box office. You have a small chance at being right, though, but it's not likely.

You seem awfully sure of that, tbh. With no good reason bar novelty.

I made it sound that I was sure, but like I said, he has a small chance to be right. There is always a chance. MOS so far has made more domestically than Cap at 290 M. Cap 2 will get around 255 domestically and maybe a little more OS (more than MOS). MOS was received well (as was seen in the DVD/Blue ray sales) and winning fanboy awards. That's not to say people didn't like it, but there is hype surrounding this just like Avengers 2.

I can see MOS2 beating Cap 3, don't get me wrong. It's possible. I'm just not willing to bet any money on it just yet. Maybe after I see a trailer.

That's why I said we need to see a trailer for making any predictions. 😛

The movie is a looong ways away. I'm just going with the reasonable prediction. You have the three of the most iconic super heroes in the same movie (WW, Batman, and Superman). I'm going to place my early bet on BVS.

I must have missed that, sorry.

I just hope that Snyder doesn't go too far out of the box with his reimagining of Bats and Diana. He pushed it some with Superman, which in contrast to Marvel seems worlds apart to me.

I hope there's still enough that's recognisable when we finally see what's coming.

SvB certainly has the potential to earn an enormous amount and more than Cap 3, but it all depends on the final result. I can easily see a situation where Cap 3 ends up outperforming SvB.

I can't see it happening at all. Cap 2 isn't on track to beat MoS, not really seeing anyway Cap 3 is beating a Superman+Batman movie unless SvB is like Batman and Robin bad.

The only way I see Cap 3 beating BVS is if they feature many Avengers cameos like Hulk, IM, and Thor. Other than that, BVS will more than likely win. Who cares, though. I just want 2 good movies.

I think if wait this is kind of a spoiler...for Spiderman 2

Spoiler:
if Amazing Spiderman 2 does well, with the whole death of Gwen Stacey thing we might get the Death of Captain America with Bucky stepping up to fill the role.

That is my realistic guess for Cap 3, if they want to beat MOS2 I think they need to call it Secret Avengers and they fight Hydra.

If BvS is mediocre, and Cap 3 is even better than Cap 2, and gets an even bigger boost from Avengers 2.. Then yeah it's possible.

After all Cap 2 is on it's way to beat IM2, so if Cap3 does as well as IM3 then... Well anything is possible.

But like I've already said BvS has the far greater potential for box office. Far far greater. But how much of that potential gets realized is something completely different.

Also if Cap loses, Marvel won't be crying about it. Not at all. On the other hand if BvS lost, then that would be yet another set back for DC's big screen adaptations.

Neither company is going to "win" that weekend.

one can only hope that Bats/Supes is good. while Cap 3 even if mediocre which i kind of doubt will make i ton of dough i do believe..

but yea definitely Marvel won;t be crying at all if Cap 3 fails

sorry for the double post but 15 minute time limit ran out..

Cap: Winter Soldier HAS ALREADY BEATEN Man of Steel overseas,, Man of Steel made $377 million overseas..
