Don't see how. Batman is closer to the level of Cap than Hawkeye, and that's before you bring prep into the fold.

An Adam West or Joel Schumacher Batman paired with Caville's Superman is a film I definitely do not want to see.

But Hawkeye > Nolan's Batman, in terms of power-level/skill.

it's not gonna be Baleman. Logic dictates it will be comic book accurate Batman.

Nope.

Which brings us full circle, comic/animated Batman's not going to translate well to live action (barring a cheese fest film like Batman & Robin), imo.

Nope, what? You think Snyder is gonna use the same realistic Batman as seen in Nolan's movies?

which brings me right back to asking how comic batman would be any different from Cap?... or Blade, Daredevil, Super Soldier Blonsky, Jet Li from "The One", Spider-man... the list goes on and on.

Nope to your thumbs up.

Because there's a reason why a live action Captain America can lift a Harley or Spider-Man survive a bomb to the face. Using the default "der, it's Batman; he can do anything" is going to be silly in a film paired with Caville's Superman.

I'm not as worried about a Superman Vs Batman fight in the live action flick, as that can easily be had with Superman being over confident in his abilities(walking up to Bruce) and Batman using Kryptonite on his ass; then they kiss and make up etc.

More of Batman being seen as useless with what he can bring compared to Superman in the overall sense in a live active film.

I hope Batman won't be too useless.. I need to meet Gioyer stat..lol

I rather Bats not bring kryptonite to the table, but I suppose it is inevitable.

he certainly could

why would it be silly in a movie, but not silly in comic?

Come on, Mouth.

Do you think a Schumacher level Batman would do well with Caville's Superman?

Not saying otherwise. Just saying I rather it not happen. Kryptonite is overused and its a crutch.

true, however kryptonite certainly could be introduced, not saying it will as i haven't read the script but at some point it could be shown

I'm not talking about Clooney Batman, I'm talking about true to source material Batman.

Why would a comic depiction of Batman not work, when movies featuring characters who are comparable to him have? Ozy from Watchmen was pretty close to what Batman would be.

They should introduce Pink Kryptonite so Superman will have gay tendencies towards Bats.

That would be worth the price of admission, alone

No homo. awermm

lol

I thought that way about Pink Kryptonite before MoS even came out. True story.

I do not like the title of this movie. So it's gonna be more about them fighting than it is them teaming up?

Watchmen humans were super in that world; it just was and we accepted it. Do you really think having an Adrien Veidt level human paired up with Caville will work well on screen? ie Batman kicking people like soccer balls? I don't.

Granted, I do hope you're right and it works well, but I have little faith.

Ozy had superhuman traits. Batman doesn't.
I think the better comparison would be to Nite Owl.

if this true regarding the plot...
