Live action Superman/Batman flick is fighting an uphill battle from the start, imo.

You have one guy who can fly, throw trains and tank missiles, paired up with a guy who has neat gadgets and has to act mysterious.

the decades of them being in comics together begs to differ.

It would only be an uphill battle if the entire movie is about the two characters fighting; I guarantee you it wont be.

My focus was on the format, "live action". The glaring disparity in power-level can be mitigated in comics or cartoon, with making Batman far more than human, I've seen it work well in both formats.

While it's cool seeing animated Batman go toe-2-toe with Solomon Grundy or outsmart Darkseid, it's going to look like a clownshow making a live action Batman super enough where he can match someone like Superman and not be reduced to sidekick status.

Zack, something weird is happening, your tears are no longer nourishing me, now they're turning me on.

cry for me, baby.

Sorry hon. you're boring now.

I think I'll move on to hate on Pacific Rim.

I am not whinning about the movie lol. I'm just addressing the flaw in Bruce's logic.

Also I'd appreciate if you just go **** off and jump off a cliff.

Thanks.

no not really... when you think about it, they have to fight especially since Batman could perceive Kal as a menace.. Also again since this is a brand new Batman moving forward, he has to have good showings against Kal, besides going by what Man of Steel showed, Kal could very well hold back against Bruce , but Bruce obviously is going all out.. if Kal goes all out against Bruce then bye bye Batman and thus no 2 and a half hour film

I think it is too soon. Could have had another MoS sequel and then do the team up. Give the Nolanites and Baletards some time to accept the change and give Superman more exposure and character development.

But alas Batman can help with the character development I guess, but it takes away from Superman imo.

yes its too soon, but I am complaining,, its about time these two meet in a live action film..

if Kal takes the battle to the air, the batsuit will change into a flysuit.. lol

I'm not as worried about a Superman Vs Batman fight in the live action flick, as that can easily be had with Superman being over confident in his abilities(walking up to Bruce) and Batman using Kryptonite on his ass; then they kiss and make up etc.

More of Batman being seen as useless with what he can bring compared to Superman in the overall sense in a live active film.

i don't get why you're worried about that.

I rather Bats not bring kryptonite to the table, but I suppose it is inevitable.

awww yeah, that's what i like, baby.

your tears are magical.

Trying too hard now.

fap fap fap

yawn

lol. so mad.

I posted this in another thread:

"Sorry, but that IS the title

http://www.forbes.com/sites/markhug...in-summer-2015/

That is just ONE of various new stories that have confirmed the title. Sorry Darth, but if you think that this ISN'T going to be Bats curb stomping supes in an attempt to build more hype for Warner Bros. most popular and profitable super hero, you're kidding yourself."

Anyway, lets not kid ourselves. WB is going to job Supes and job him HARD. I've already read one article where people where calling for the weakening of Supes so Batman could give him a legit fight PHYSICALLY. That's without k-nite or a power suit. Granted I don't think WB would be dumb enough to actually do that, but they WILL have Supes get curb stomped by Bats in this. They have to build hype for this new Batman. It just sucks that they have to job Supes out in his own sequel to do it.

LoL I'm cool bro.

I just hate kryptonite. Would rather they keep it out, even if it does make the fight with Batman more credible.

Because it will be glaringly obvious how stupid it is in a live action film unless they have some utterly spectacular writing and plot and as a fan of superhero flicks, I want to see more Iron Man and less (ie zero) Green Lantern type of flicks.

how would it be any different than Cap sharing a live-action screen with Hulk and Thor?

I'd like Batman to have really long elaborate plans to keep up with Superman. Would be cool to have Prep-God Batman on film.

It would be, but that is most likely not how they'd do it sadly.

That's not a proper analogy, as there are six Avengers to share the load/plot and Captain America is super-powered.

A proper Analogy would be a Thor/Hawkeye film. That would suck and only Mindset would be beating off to it.

Don't see how. Batman is closer to the level of Cap than Hawkeye, and that's before you bring prep into the fold.
