Going to he hilarious if Eisenberg shocks us and does a solid performance for the role, like Ledger with his Joker. I'll certainly eat crow.

I think Eisenberg will give an awesome performance, just not the right performance.

Even if he knocks it out the park, he still not a good choice for Lex.

Its like if they casted that academy award nominated actress who played "precious" to play wonder woman. Im sure she would give a good performance but still it would be a highly dumb casting choice.

I get that they were going for a "modern" and "hip" lex but they went about it the lazy way , as usual wb/dc.
There are plenty of actors who could have played the modern lex but what do they do?

wb/dc shot caller: "hey lets get the guy who played the facebook ceo in that facebook movie to basically play the same role""He seems pretty hip and douchey"
wb/dc shot caller #2: "great, book it"

sure, batman's a reckless prick. isn't that comic canon as well? he at least had ends to his methods, though, which was finishing the fight.

superman sorta dragged zod from a rural farm area into a city and punched him through stuff that he knew damn well wasn't going to hurt him that much, since he was another kryptonian. MoS superman was just reckless for the hell of it. he was a supreme dick.

When in the hell was he trained to deal with collateral like Batman?

The ****, man? He saved the earth, didn't have a lot of time to think about how to do it, none of the deaths were his fault. He was simply trying to stop Zod from terminating earth, the "mistakes" you mention are the result of him not having control of the situation. Because he's a rookie at saving the earth.

Batman is so clever and sharp that he'd make even a genetically bred warlord like Zod look like a hapless fool in any tactical situation. He's Jason Bourne, with the mental discipline of a Shaolin War Master.

To be fair, though, I think Zod was mentally defective from the moment he had to turn on his own race to save it. There must have been mental blocks designed in his nucleotide sequence to prevent him from doing what he did, that was ****ing with his ability to think. Hence why he lost to a scientist that was his old friend in h2h.

He more than likely is/has the bigger penis - you'd have to be more of a prick than Genghis Khan to pull off some of the crazy shit Batman does. A mentality like that alone turns you from a sheep to a lion.
