"I don't always use guns...but when I do, It's a machine gun turret."

The bat-bike (or whatever the hell you call it) in the Dark Knight also had a giant gun on it- one capable of blowing up sedans... and killing Bane, lol.

So yeah. idk

the tumbler had more destructive arsenal that this new batmobile.. just because the guns are there doesn't mean he's gonna mow down people with it..

I remember Batman grinning & muttering, "Rubber Bullets...honest."

Except that he did use to use guns in his early days 😬

people tend to forget that batman is a vigilante.. not only did he use guns, he would usually leave criminals to die, if not kill them himself.. he was pretty brutal during the early days..

But that's the point...depending on your age, depending on what period you started reading Batman comics...his "early days" can be very subjective.

I clearly remember a period where Batman swore on his dead father's grave never to use a firearm...it was a coward's weapon.

Nolan kinda hinted that Bruce had an aversion to guns in Begins then kinda contradicted himself (Nolan) by equipping all Batman's vehicles with projectile weapons.

And yet neither Affleck, Snyder or Burton ever wrote Batman comics. 🙄

which doesn't mean anything since they are giving their interpretations of the character

People might be getting all crazy over nonsense. Does anyone know what is fired from those guns for a fact? Could be rubber bullets, used as non lethal crowd control.

As I mentioned earlier.

I'm guessing since Miller's TDKR's batmobile used rubber bullets for crowd control and the Batsuit in this seems heavily inspired from TDKR.

Thinking about it though, several incarnations of the batmobile had guns:

-Burton's had what looked like Browning .50 cal guns

-Batman:TAS had guns

-The Tumbler had guns

They were never used lethally though iirc,

you are correct about the guns on the batmobile never being used for lethal force

^ No it was only explosives that were used with lethal force..

-Burton's Batman when the Batmobile drops a bomb in Joker's factory with some of his goons still in there.

-Thanks for the "help"
-Earth Belongs To Humans

-When Invasion Becomes Reality Revolt Becomes Duty

I really like what they are doing with this universe, Zod Invasion really felt like a doomsday world changer scenario, Snyder doesnt give a crap look that swastika there, something that was missed from the Captain Amercia films by kiddy Marvel Studios.
