There's only so much "hype" people can talk about without even seeing a trailer yet.

This thread is also over a year and a half old and if you actually read the thread you'll notice a lot of off-topic posts and some that aren't very excited about the movie.

Kaz started "the lets post about a movie 3 years before it comes out." He is too be Blamed.

Traffic doesn't equate to hype. If anything, this thread's gotten mostly negative posts regarding the film anyways.

Honestly not surprised. A lot of people have an unnatural hate for DC.

Speaking for myself, I don't hate or even dislike DC, I'm just tired of Superman and Batman movies. I would rather re-watch the GL movie 15 times than see another SM or BM movie.

So true, -Pr-. Who cares though how Marvel fanboys feel? I sure don't.

Sam Jackson was never going to come out and say he was looking forward to it. That would be silly.

Disagree.

Joss Whedon said he's looking forward to BvS after Affleck was cast. Feige, when he was asked once, said he wishes DC movies all the best because good comic book movies help each other.

So it's actually quite surprising Sam Jackson putting the movie down like that with still over a year to go and before there's been even a single trailer.

Actually hype is good either way. Those hating on it will watch the movie to hate on it even more Lol. But some of them may change their tune at that point.

That being said I don't think these boards reflect the mainstream audience given we're mostly all sweaty comic book nerds here.

But I can tell you I've had more regular friends/family asking me when this movie is coming.

So I'm pretty sure once this movie is within reach the hype will go into overdrive. It's just not going to be in overdrive all year around like Marvel, because Marvel's giving us 2 great films every year. Whilst Dc gave us nothing last year and are giving us nothing this year either.

/cueqq "he's not blonde"

It is kind of obnoxious how washed out all of the promo material is. Worked for Batman because they committed to b/w. This one's aight.

God damn he looks badass as hell

those scale tattoos are a cool adaptation

He didn't even put the movie down, did you actually read the article?

Don't get smart with me kiddo..

Ok, not the movie itself, but he's clearly having a dig at DC movies in general including their attempts at BvS:

http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/marvel/34211/samuel-l-jackson-on-what-marvel-has-that-dc-doesnt

"I think Marvel has figured out a way to make those movies accessible to the public ... DC hasn't"

^ Clearly he missed how everyone went nuts for The Dark Knight Trilogy.

and this:

"I don't know what it is. I don't know why you can't get Batman and Superman together and have people as juiced up to be a part of that"

^ He's clearly having digs at DC movies here for no reason. I mean where did he get this idea that people aren't stoked for BvS?

If he wants to have digs at Green Lantern, or go on about all these Marvel movies outperforming MOS at the box office, then fair enough. But this just seems like a general put down, completely ignoring the great stuff they've put out in recent years ( the Nolan trilogy has heavily contributed to the love for Superhero movies today), and making up random s*** about people not being hyped for frigging Batman V Superman.

Like I said, I think his Online secret identity could very well be Quanchi.

Not being a comic reader, I am more hyped for BvsS than AoU. I wish DoJ was coming out first because I want to see that more.

The dude's caught up in the press of Ultron and shit, he's ensconced in nothing but hype currently.

Ultron comes out in what, 2 months or something?

Anybody hyped for Ragnarok? Inhumans? Doctor Strange? Any non-fans hyping those on your facebook timeline?

It was never about being not blonde. being not blonde is just part of the problem.

I've seen those, but that's different imo. I just don't see Jackson being that complimentary with avengers right around the corner.

Aquaman's hair color is all but irrelevant, imo. It's casting Jason I-Can't-Act Mamoa for the role.

He'd also probably look like a tool with blonde hair, so it's good they seemed to have kept his hair dark with what seems like highlights added
