People also forget the fantastic job Snyder did with "300".
I'd like to see someone who knows how to make films in which the entire setting isn't morbidly depressed do a MoS sequel.

In MoS, the script exposed Snyder's weaknesses. In BvS, he should hopefully have a much better script to work with. Chris Terrio >>>>>>>> David Goyer. Also, I think Ben Affleck should offer better guidance.
Combine Snyder's amazing visual direction, Terrio's hopefully awesome script and the tremendously talented cast, and you've got a great movie.

I don't think Affleck wanted to direct
A bit strange that he was willing to play Batman for multiple movies and get deeply involved with the DCCU but wasn't willing to direct JL.
Too bad, but either way I do think it's a mistake relying on Snyder for their 2 biggest projects to get the DCCU going- BvS and JL. I mean he can be a good director but he's no Whedon, Vaughn or Russo brothers.

Seriously what movies has Affleck directed that screams he's ideal to direct a superhero franchise?
He's not directed anything science fiction or fantasy or superhero based, but neither had the Russo Brothers before Captain America:TWS.
A Great Director with a passion for the comic book franchise is what's needed. Snyder has the passion but I don't think he's "Great."

Very very good. Not trying to start a flame war but so far the JL look like they'll eat the Avengers alive.
that's seriously not a diss, i just never understand why anyone cares about anyone's opinion to the point of getting mad about it.

Yeah it's dumb, but that's literally what this fandom does constantly forever. That's not news

You mean in "how they look"? so dark grim looking, and tattoos means tougher?
or maybe you mean in "over the top power levels"?
or do you mean in the quality of the film itself will beat the avengers?
I know youre trolling but im curious.
