Quan is really the only person who fits that description. Most of those people, like me, don't hate DC but hate MoS.

It's not just them though, problem also lies with the people who feel the need to needlessly compare the two companies... multiple people on this forum will bring up 'MoS' in an 'Avengers' thread (or vice-versa) for no damn reason, which emboldens the "choose a side" people to go off the rails with their bullshit. Mods should probably warn people for that shit.

I've seen you write many times that DC in particular sucks. You have a preconceived grudge against DC, that's a fact. You liking the Nolan films is a testament to their greatness. Even a staunch DC hater can't dislike the batman movies.

Comparing movies is the fabric of the forum. That too, it's comparing movies of the same genre. I see nothing wrong with bringing up Avengers as a benchmark in the BvS thread. I for one always bring up MoS as a "what not to do" in the comic book superhero genre.

Let's see - Avengers and BvS are both comic book based, both in superhero genre, both feature confliction among good guys and the eventual formation of a team, both are action heavy franchises, both are developed by companies' which have a storied past with each other, both have city wide destruction in them. I'd say they're related. They're so related metaphorically they'd be siblings.
Granted their is one person who introduces the topic of Marvel simply to bash DC, but that's called trolling. Trolling is not the dominant reason people bring up avengers in a BvS thread
BvS needs to be DC's equivalent of Avengers, as I don't see JL generating much more excitement tbh, because without the build up of DC Solo superhero movies, JL will basically be a sequel to BvS.
So yeah I don't see a problem in making comparisons to Avengers either. It's just when people start s**ing over DC movies or Marvel movies in general that the problem starts.

It doesn't need to do Avengers numbers to be successful. Who's to say JL won't be bigger? Way to early to say at this point.
