would Jeremy Renner make a good Bruce/Batman??

also what about Alexander Skarsgard(sp?)???

I can't see Renner as Batman, tbh.

Maybe because he's already Hawkeye.

i said the same thing about Chris Evans when i heard he was gonna be Cap. I couldn't picture it 'cause Chris was already Johnny, but Chris is a great Cap... and at least in this case it's not the same company.

Basically, no one saw F4, and the people who did completely blocked it out like childhood trauma.

I can't see Renner as Batman either, tbh. Not because of Hawkeye, just in general.

You just hate white people.

thats true..

Guys other than the rumored names who could really play Bruce/Batman this time around??

Nick Frost for Batman.

He'd be tremendous. Honest.

Definitely. Bale has no range whatsoever. His best performance was when he was about 12 years old in Empire of the Sun. His only other passable roles were playing a man with no emotions at all because that's how he comes across usually anyway and his role in The Fighter

I applaud his dedication physically to his roles though. What he put himself through to go from The Machinist to Batman Begins and again from The Fighter to Dark Knight Rises was staggering. But that doesn't make him a good actor.

He scrapes a pass as Patrick Bateman and his roles in The Prestige. Everything else is laughably bad.

This is all just terrible Scrapes a pass as Patrick Bateman? He was dope as hell in The Prestige. Shows no emotion? Wtf.

Physical transformation IS a facet of acting. His performance in The Fighter was "passable"?

Jesus.

lol. no it's not.

gaining/losing weight has zero to do with acting.

Yes it is. All part of the performance.

has nothing to do with... ACTING.

So you've never heard of method acting.

okay.

Renee Zellwegger > Meryl Streep.

😐

please explain how gaining or losing weight helps an actor convey an emotion. It helps with the visual... it convinces us that the actor is really an aids patient or whatever, but it has nothing to do with actual acting. That's like saying chopping off all your hair, or sitting in a makeup chair for 12 hours makes you a quality actor.

c'mon.

What a horrible straw man, it's not even relevant to the discussion.

strawman? You're claiming weight loss is acting, and I'm asking you to explain.

If you don't see your strawman, anything beyond grunts and clicks will likely go over your head, chomper.

Jesus.

He was a terrible Patrick Bateman. Came across as too comical with one scene as an exception which is when he was peeling off his face mask. James Van Der Beek was much better as Sean Bateman.

He was awful in the Prestige. Terrible accent. Hammy as **** especially the scene when he's in jail. Every time he does a scene when he has to act angry it's just cringe inducingly bad. He's just generally awful at acting.

Now apologize for being stupid.
