Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Apart from Linda Hamilton, Sigourney & Jolie...I can't think of many female leads who would commit to starring in a movie franchise that meant they had to be in constant peak condition.

I doubt anyone at the top is thinking about it that way. They're just thinking who will be the best box office draw.

Besides it wasn't Bale's fault that his Batman didn't have enough gadgets, or better looking action scenes.

No, obviously it's not Bale's fault. But clearly the issues of better gadgets & better action scenes NEED to be addressed.
The world already knows what Superman is capable of...now we need a better rendition of Batman to make this movie credible.

Say what you all want...watching Bale and Cavill on screen would be extastic

I DO NOT WANT either Nolan or Bale anywhere near the Bat suit ever again.

Batman action should be one of the least concerns here. Even if they sue Bale they'll find a way for him to smack Supes so they can pander to the audience.

I just hope they don't overdo it.

Well I WOULD LOVE Bale to return. But end of the day it's not up to me or you. Chances are it will be someone new in the Bat suit.

same here, to have Bale return would do wonders.. looking forward to the new actor to portray him.. also looking forward to people moaning and groaning if the new guy doesn;t do what people what..

The Hunger Games isn't really a good example. It's, as I'm sure you well know, based off a highly successful book series and caters to a very different audience than a Wonder Woman film would.

Wonder Woman is at least as well known as Katniss, imo, and has an audience built in for the most part.

I really think that, if they made the movie the right way, it'd be great. They just need to get someone like Whedon to take the reins.

Funny thing is Whedon almost did a Wonder Woman film, but he got fed up of waiting around for WB to let him get on with it.

What a mistake that was. For WB that is.

Yep; though I heard that he wanted SMG to be Diana, and I don't know how I would have felt about that.

If they make a Wonder Woman movie something like they did with the animated one, steep the thing in Greek mythology at least for a part of it, then the movie will be more than profitable imo.

But yeah I think a Wonder Woman movie could be profitable. After all before RDJ wasn't Iron Man still considered a B-list superhero.

Oh...making Buffy a brunette might look a tad weird on screen but if she can get into shape for it then I'd be welcome to see how that project would turn out.

I read somewhere that Bale was being offered in excess of 50 million to reprise the role.

For sure. Drop Cheetah and Dr. Psycho and make the Greek Gods the villains. Maybe they could play it similar to the current comics with Zeus leaving heaven causing all the gods to fight over the throne. And in the first film, Ares makes his play. Likely involving an attempt to ignite WW3.

I also am a fan of making WW use weapons often. It makes her more unique and not just the "female Superman" so many think she is.
