That's funny. People didn't make a sound at my theaters. I watched Star Wars twice now and no reaction whatsoever. Actually, Civil War got some cheers. There was a reaction to Bruce Wayne though.

My crowd was pretty quiet during that trailer tbh.

The GA doesn't watch the trailers for these movies until they see it with something as big as Star Wars. It's only a small percentage that knew WW was in the movie.

The fact that people cheered instead of cringed is pretty amazing in and of itself. God that trailer was awful. The first 2 for BvS were good, this latest one......yah, no.

If you say so. Everyone I know that saw the third trailer HATES it. Again, the first 2 were good. The last one was rubbish. And the sad thing is it's the one that sheds the most light on the movie...So my excitement for BvS dropped a ton.

Almost the same boat. My friend loved the first 2 trailers, but hated the latest one. However, I know some people who were on the fence (even after the first 2), but once they saw the third trailer, they're all in. It really doesn't matter, because the people who loved the first 2 are still going to see it.

That's the problem with some of the heroes in the MU movies. They don't do them justice.

It's not about power. It's about being a good story. So far Marvel is going story over comic accuracy. We'll see what DC decides to do.
