I can understand that Darth, he isn't who I would choose either. I'm just saying that we should give him a chance, after all, people were upset about Robert-Downey as Tony Stark before Iron Man came out, and he knocked it out of the park. Maybe Affleck will suck, but maybe he won't. Until we see more I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic. 🙂
I'll probably be open to the idea later, but for right now I've just found out in the last 24 hours and I'm butt hurt so will keep b****ing for a while.

So, let me ask people this: If Affleck is actually good in the role, what then?
don;t think he will be.. .. the only he would be would be due to the stuntmen

Why are people freaking out? Affleck has been awesome in his recent work. Lets give him the benefit of the doubt before everyone starts boarding the hate train, seriously.

Then great! I hope he is! Please prove me wrong because this is the last role and film that I want messed up.But right now we're just getting used to the news and are pretty disappointed. And let's face it, it's not like we have no idea of how Affleck would portray a superhero. Unless his acting has really done a complete U-Turn in the last 10 years. Not that he was bad in Daredevil.. But too mediocre for Batman.
Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) is Lex Luthor.
w00t
Matt Damon for Aquaman.

There's an article there about why they chose Affleck. Saying they were really impressed when they had talks with him about JL on the big screen, saying he truly gets it.
That's all great to keep him on board as a consultant, writer or director. But I'm confused why that would make him the perfect Batman??
