WB is not going to show a 2:15 trailer during the SB. That would be around $25 million they would hVe to fork up.

They have the Dorito tie in during the SB, which could tell everyone to watch the new trailer.

Civil War is getting a spot pre-game and during the 2nd quarter.

Not feeling the Bats theme. Too evil, not catchy. Sounds like it would fit Ras' Al Ghul or some other "bigger than life" type villain. TDK theme song kills it IMO

That downloaded track, on the other hand, is awesome. It sounds like it would be a theme for a psycho villain like Joker. Its not his, but it should be.

Releasing China on the same day the as the USA is good for box office.

yes, although it might not stop each and every comic book fan but it could stop the GA which is what every comic book film needs to be a major success.....

hmmm.. well that's bad .. you'd think being the most anticipated film for this year than its opening weekend would be substantially higher... could also mean that people still hate the casting choices. .. while comic book fans will like it(well most of us anyway) the GA is what really counts.. if indeed this opens up to $154 million here, then it'll tap out at around between $800 million to $900 million worldwide... , still good obviously but below the $1 billion dollar mark.

^ Well you have to give or take 10-15% with those projections. But even if true, it should comfortably surpass the Billion WW. as all other movies with that kind of OW do.

Heard the movie was good, still the trailers are lacking imo

That's just the long range prediction. BO.com long range prediction for the first Avengers was almost exactly the same. And Hunger Games was quite lower as well. It's still several weeks left to go and the prediction will go up.

Actaully I READ that on a special peeview screening at the end of the movie peoole were cheering and giving standing ovation at the end of the movie.

Pretty sure that was a room full of WB people cheering their own film. Don't think they've had special screenings any more open than that.

According to Umberto Gonzalez, WB had special screenings in New York for the GA. And it played well. Not sure if that's true or not, but he's been spot on with BVS.

I wouldn't be "pretty sure" of anything as I wasn't even there and you didn't even read the article.

I don't recall the article saying anything about being WB people.
