I thought the whole "nerdy guy pearce" stuff was just weird, but I did like what they were doing with the mandarin, and, if I'm remembering right, how dangerous extremis seemed. tony's panic attacks... not sure how I feel about that, but I don't think it was badly done, whether I agree with it or not.
then we find out who the mandarin is and... ugh.
thor 2 was similar in a way, in that it started off well but got weaker as it went on bar any scene with loki.

I on the other hand, will be seeing Batman v Superman : Justice League err Batman and his Biatches with very few expectations because it is better to walk out of a theater feeling great if the film is good as opposed too feeling like shit (if that indeed what the film might be and LETS ALL FACE IT , this could be) .... I have to feel like this because I do not want to feel disappointed and want my money back

Yep, that was me Lol. Wouldn't even say I didn't like it, was just disappointed is all.
My expectations are definitely in check for this though, as it just feels like there's so much that could go wrong.

However I still think this will make over a Billion WW regardless of how good it is. In fact Only a Billion WW would be pretty disappointing for this.
I was one of the people disappointed by TFA, but I never said it was a bad movie.
With this one, I'm just hoping it's better than MoS. I'm admittedly a fan of MoS, so my "expectation" are gonna be a little higher than some other people. Well, hopes rather than expectations.

Why would a billion be a disappointment? The budget, iirc, was like 200m.

Oh because making profit isn't the same thing as Expectations. Remember The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was considered a disappointment making $700mill WW (considerably more than MOS), and the result of that was Sony rebooting it with Marvel.
Also remember the last 2 Solo Batman movies grossed a Billion Dollars each, so I'm sure they're expecting more for this. With "2 ICONS" as Quanchi always puts it, and a bigger international market now, as well as 3d ticket sales and a few years of inflation.
